Using the Mouse.

Using the HAVIT Magic Eagle Gaming Mouse couldn’t be easier, you just plug in the USB 2.0 connector into your gaming pc or laptop and that’s it!

To set your DPI preference setting you need to simply press the DPI button and the mouse will flash Red for 800DPI, Green for 1200DPI, Blue for 2400DPI, and Pink for 3200DPI.

After you’ve set the DPI settings the mouse will default into a light changing mode.  There is a way of stopping the mouse from cycling through the colours and switching it off completely.  To do this press and hold both Forward and Back Button and press the DPI button on top.

If like me you like the colour cycling function, the mouse will cycle thorough a selection of 7 colours, these colours are Yellow, Green, Blue, Red, Purple, Light Blue, and White.

The mouse feels quite chunky in the hand though and takes some time to get used to.

Conclusion.

I like this mouse from HAVIT. I love the LED colours but don’t like the shape of the mouse, it feels too big and clunky for me.  I’m sure this is just my personal preference. The installation is nice and simple and requires no setting up.  I like the braided cable too, it feels strong and durable.

  1. I have been looking for ways to customize the Havit Magic Mouse to specific games but I cannot find ways to do this. Do you have any suggestions on how to make the games understand the extra buttons besides the left, right click and scroll wheel. I’d like to be able in using the forward and backward buttons.

    1. Hi Nathaniel,

Thank you for your comment, I’m afraid you’ll need to contact Havit to ask them, I wouldn’t know where to begin to be honest with you.

      Darren
