Charging the Torus Pro M2S.

You’ll need to give the Torus Pro M2S a quick charge to activate it.  To do this use the supplied charging cable (Which has a length of 14.0cm) and you’ll need to plug the USB end of the cable into any 5V DC plug or power source.

You’ll need to ensure that you correctly insert the tracker into the charging cradle so that the charging connectors meet with the charging connectors on the cable itself.  If you’ve done it correctly the charging cable will couple over the tracker and take hold of it.

Download the Droihealth App.

The next thing to do is to download the app that accompanies the tracker, it’s called Droihealth and it is available to both iOS and Android smartphone users.

Please note:  The Torus Pro M2S requires a minimum operating system of iOS 8.0 or above for iPhone users and Android 4.4 for Android smartphone users.  You’ll need to ensure that your device supports a Bluetooth connection of 4.0 or above!

Once downloaded you’ll need to open the App, when you open the App up for the first time you’ll need to give permission to be sent notifications and then you’ll be able to pair a new device.

Pairing.

You can choose to create a user account or if you prefer you can skip this option and get straight into the App.

To pair the Torus Pro M2S to the App you’ll need to press the “Me” icon on the bottom right hand side of the bar and click where it says “My Device” to add the M2S.

The Torus Pro M2S should be visible to connect too and you’ll need to confirm pairing to your device, if it’s a successful pairing your fitness tracker will vibrate and now display the correct date/time.

Now you can change some details and set your own preferences using the App.  You can also see your previous days workout and sleep data and can compete with random people around the world to see who’s going to top the leader board rank next.

Conclusion.

I’m not a big fan of this fitness tracker from Torus Pro.  It’s very basic and cumbersome to use.  The touchscreen menu is poor and lacks technological development.  The App is OK and although it’s easy to install and set up it does breach a lot of data as you’re able to see other wearers email addresses!

The strap although made from Silicone is a hard strap to wear and can become uncomfortable over a period.

Another low point for me is the short charging cable, you literally need to have it hanging from your plug socket to charge your tracker.

Overall, I don’t rate this tracker highly, but I suppose if you’re after a very basic no frills fitness tracker then it may be of some use to you.

If you want the Torus Pro M2S for yourself, it’s available only on Amazon. The RRP for this tracker is £79.99.
