Tired of dead batteries on the go?
Looking for a power bank that can handle all your devices?
Need a reliable companion for your travels? A UGREEN Nexode Power Bank is just what you need.
UGREEN currently offers five power bank options: from 100W, right up to 200W.
UGREEN have kindly sent me two power banks for a review, the 100W/1200mAh and 130W/20000mAh models.
So for today’s review I’ll be mentioning both, each has different features to compare.
Both models boast speedy charging for your tablets and phones.
The 100W option is a great choice for everyday use, fueling your iPad Pro M4 to 40% and iPhone 15 to 60% in just 30 minutes.
Need some emergency laptop juice? No problem! It can even give your MacBook Pro 16” a 43% charge in half an hour.
If you’re a power user who needs to charge a beefy laptop alongside your phone, the 130W Nexode is the ultimate champion. It delivers an even faster zap, perfect for laptops that demand more power.
Both UGREEN models boast a digital display showing you the remaining battery level and charging status.
The UGREEN Nexode 130W goes further with a more comprehensive TFT screen that gives you a clear picture of everything happening under the hood.
See real-time battery level, voltage, current, and even the power distribution across each port.
No more scrambling to understand what’s going on – with a quick glance, you’re in complete control of your charging situation.
Both power banks support a wide range of charging protocols (PD, PPS, QC, AFC, FCP, SCP) to keep almost anything juiced up, from your latest MacBook Pro to your trusty AirPods.
UGREEN Nexode also offers safe and gentle trickle charging to keep your AirPods and smartwatches topped up without the risk of damage.
Packaging and Contents.
Both UGREEN Nexode Power Banks come with a sleeved type box, the 100W box measures 15.0cm x 10.1cm x 5.5cm and weighs 433G. The 130W measures 18.0cm x 10.0cm x 6.0cm and weighs 650G.
Both have a paper multi-lingual instruction guide, both are supplied with a USB-C/USB-C cable, but the 130W model also has a carry pouch.
The supplied USB-C/USB-C cable for both models measures 53.0cm in length.
UGREEN Nexode Power Bank 100W.
I’m going to split the 100W and 130W models up now for these next couple of sections, each one has different capabilities and features to share.

UGREEN Nexode Power Bank 100W Ports.
You get a twin port design. A single USB-A port, and a single USB-C port. The USB-C port also acts as an input for you to recharge with a recommended PD 65W (or higher) charger for optimum recharging.
Each port has the following capabilities:
- USB-A Output: 10V⎓2.25A/5V⎓3A/9V⎓2A/12V⎓1.5A 22.5W Max

If you’re using both together, expect maximum power to be 10W on each port.

UGREEN Nexode Power Bank 130W.
The 130W power bank measures 130.8mm x 54.2mm x 50.2mm and weighs 476G.

It’s like having a tiny power engineer in your pocket!
Perfect for tech enthusiasts who like to keep an eye on things.
UGREEN Nexode Power Bank 130W Ports.

For single port use, the maximum power for the USB-C port is 100W for the USB-C1 and 30W for the USB-C2, and single use for the USB-A port is 33W.
If you’re using both USB-C ports together, expect power to be 100W on USB-C1 and 30W for the USB-C2 port.
Using the USB-C1 port and USB-A port will give you a maximum power of 100W and 33.0W. Using the USB-C2 port and USB-A at the same time will give you 15W for both ports.
Utilising all three? Expect 100W for USB-C1 and 15W for both the USB-C2 and USB-A ports.
The recharge time of the UGREEN Nexode Power Bank 130W is around 1.5 hours with a PD 65W Charger.
Using the Power Banks.
Right, these Nexode power banks aren’t exactly pocket-sized. They’ve got some heft to them, but that’s because they’re packed with juice!
Perfect for charging multiple devices on the go, whether you’re a solo adventurer or powering a whole crew.
And to make sure they don’t go slipping out of your hand, they both have handy non-slip pads.
Like any top-notch brand, UGREEN’s power banks come loaded with all the safety features you’d expect.
We’re talking 13 layers of protection, plus their fancy Thermal Guard System™ that keeps an eye on the temperature a whopping 200 times a second!
And the best part? They’re both airline approved, so you can shove them in your bag and charge on the go.
The display screen on these Nexode power banks is a winner. It’s brilliant not having to guess how much juice is left, and those little robot faces are just like the ones on the UGREEN RG 65W Charger – a right cute touch that adds a bit of fun!
They definitely make you feel confident you’re not going to get caught short on power.
Both power banks successfully activated Samsung’s super fast charging function, replicating the performance of a wall charger.
