Today I’ll be writing about the UGREEN Nexode 300W USB C Charger. This is an exclusive new product release by UGREEN and the first 300W 5-Port GaN Charger featuring a dedicated 140W output port. This charger has solely been designed to enable fast charging of multiple devices. A PD3.1 Charging Protocol provides superior, high-speed charging support and a wide range of voltage applicability for a variety of devices. You can fully charge a 16-inch MacBook Pro in just 1.5 hours. You can also rapidly charge upto 5 devices simultaneously in an incredibly short time.
As with all UGREEN products, safety is at the forefront of design and consumer use. The advanced GaN & SiC chips offer improved heat dissipation. The built-in smart Thermal Guard™ system ensures first-class safety by continuously monitoring temperature changes in real-time and taking 6000 temperature readings per minute. Yep, you read that correctly, 6000 readings per minute!
I’m one of only a few lucky people to have hold of the UGREEN Nexode 300W USB C Charger, as I write this UGREEN haven’t officially released this charger. I’ve been using the UGREEN Nexode 300W USB C Charger for around a month now, and today’s review is based upon my honest assessment and use. So, let’s do this!
Packaging and Contents.
The UGREEN Nexode 300W USB C Charger comes packaged in a black sleeved box which shows product images and specifications printed on it. The box measures 16.5cm x 10.5cm x 12.5cm and weighs 1289G.
Inside the box you’ll find the following: 1x Charger, 1x Cable, 1x USB-C/USB-C Cable, 1x English User Guide.
The supplied USB-C/USB-C cable measures 1.5M in length, providing power up to 240W (48V/5A). You can purchase additional cables from Amazon.
I’ve been using UGREEN cables for a while now and swear by them, they’re both durable and allows super-fast charging for my Samsung Galaxy S20 FE. So, to get another cable within the UGREEN Nexode 300W USB C Charger is a wonderful bonus. Honestly, try a UGREEN cable and you’ll be converted for life.
The detachable IEC C5 Cloverleaf power lead measures 2M in length.
UGREEN Nexode 300W USB C Charger.
The UGREEN Nexode 300W USB C Charger measures 11.0cm x 9.5cm x 5.0cm and weighs 835G. Yes, it’s a chonky boi, but with all that goes into managing heat dissipation and power you can forgive it.
The underside features two non-slip grip strips (that’s a tongue twister for you).
You get 4x USB-C ports and a single 3.1 USB-A port. Dependent upon what port you use, or how many devices you use the power rating of each port changes. I’m going to try and pop in some understanding below of each port and their capabilities.
I’m going to paste in some UGREEN graphics that better explain what each port can do, dependent upon of course the number of devices being used simultaneously.
Hope that helps. Probably easier to use graphics than reply on me trying to explain all that via text. If you’re unsure of the rated power for your device, the UGREEN Nexode 300W USB C Charger will automatically charge according for your device, all without damaging your battery. That’s not all, the charger utilises UGREEN’s Power Dispenser System, this effectively charges one or more devices at the same rate to others being plugged in, balancing everyone’s charging is more user is using the charger.
I touched on safety above. But the UGREEN Nexode 300W USB C Charger has so much more to mention. So, here goes.
Firstly, the outer casing (which by the way features a non-finger-mark design) is constructed with flame-resistant materials rated to UL 94 V-0. This means: Vertical Burn; Burning stops within 10 seconds, NO flaming drips are allowed.
Next up, UGREEN have incorporated 4-fold protection for the UGREEN Nexode 300W USB C Charger. You get Over-Voltage Protection, Over-Current Protection, Short-Circuit Protection, and Overheat Protection. You’re protected against the potentially dangerous effects of overcurrent’s, such as an overload current or a short-circuit current, which creates a fault current.
You also get UGREEN’s latest GaN Ⅲ chip technology, which has added circuity to increase efficiency and reduce heat. The UGREEN Nexode 300W USB C Charger features two of these GaN Ⅲ chips.

I absolutely love the UGREEN Nexode 300W USB C Charger. It now has pride of place on my desk, to be able to fast charge multiple devices, simultaneously is fantastic. Yes, it’s quite big for a portable charger, but I don’t think portability is at the foremind when using this charger, you simply want a desktop charger capable of charging multiple devices, all in unison.
I can’t fault it at all, I experienced no issues whatsoever, UGREEN is a trusting brand and always puts safety at their forefront of their design.
I highly recommend this charger.
