Today I’ll be writing a review for the UGREEN Nexode 65W USB C Charger. This is my second review for UGREEN.

The UGREEN Nexode 65W USB C Charger measures when fully opened 8.0cm x 4.7cm x .5.0cm and when the pins are folded away 5.5cm x 4.7cm x 5.0cm, the plug weighs 156G.

You get three ports, two of which are USB-C ports and one single USB-A 3.1 port. You get even power distribution across all three ports which includes the following set up:

  • Single Device Charge: 65W for USB-C port, 22.5W for USB-A port.
  • Two USB C Devices: 45W for the top port and 20W for the other.
  • One USB-C Device and one USB-A Device: 45W for the USB-C top port, 18.W for the USB-A port. Or, 8.5W for the second USB-C port, and 8.5W for the USB-A port.
  • Three Devices: 45W for the top USB-C port, 8.5W for the second USB-C port, and 8.5W for the USB-A port.

I was particularly impressed with the quick charge time of my Samsung Galaxy S20 FE phone. I used the top USB-C port, plugged in my device using a UGREEN USB-C/USB-C cable and I was greeted with the super-fast charging message on my screen.

You’ll be pleased to hear that I tested all three ports being used simultaneously and can confirm the advertised capabilities are near enough to real-lie experiences, with very little deviance.

Conclusion.

I like the UGREEN Nexode 65W USB C Charger. The non-fingerprint design is also a great touch, nothing worse than mucky prints everywhere. The charger itself charges incredibly quick, all without fear of over charge, and the added overvoltage protection, overcurrent protection, and short circuit protection also add reassurances too.

I can’t really find any issues or improvements to be honest, it’s a brilliant product.
