New Bee NB-6 ANC Wireless Headphones.
The New Bee NB-6 ANC are made from mainly plastic materials with PU leather padding, they’re Black in colour. They measure from ear-cup to ear-cup (Measuring from the bottom of the ear-cup and across the top of the headband to the bottom of the other ear-cup) 46.0cm but can extend upto 52.0cm and weigh 185G. These headphones also fold away to a nice compact size for easy storage.
The headband is also padded with soft memory foam and sits comfortably on your head.
The ear cups rotate 90° and each one is heavily padded with foam and PU leather, each ear-cup measure 7.0cm x 7.0cm with a centre holed diameter of 3.0cm.
All functions can be controlled via the right ear-cup. You get multiple tactile buttons which controls functions such as:
MFB Button – This button powers on/off the headphone, this also answers and ends phone calls.
Volume + Button – This increases the volume and by pressing and holding will skip forward a track.
Volume – Button – This decreases volume and by pressing and holding will play a previous track.
Pause/Play Button – This button can pause and resume your music.
Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) Button – Press this button to open/close the ANC function.
The buttons have a nice tactile feel to them, and with practice you’ll be able to control many functions using just these instead of reaching for your device.
On the bottom of the right ear-cup is where the Microphone, Micro USB and AUX cable input ports are located.
The left ear-cup features an in-built Near Field Communication (NFC) function.
Both ear-cup swivel and rotate to suit your needs and ensure a nice fit your head whilst you’re using them.
Using the New Bee NB-6 ANC.
Firstly, you’ll need to give these a charge using the supplied Micro USB cable (Which has a length of 80.0cm). Charging is simple, find a 5V DC outlet and charge. That’s it! You can use just about anything to charge these headphones including laptops, mobile phone power adapter, and even a powerbank.
Charging takes around 3-4 hours for which will give you a standby time of 210 days, or 65 hours of music playtime.
The best way to enjoy these headphones is via a wireless Bluetooth connection. But if your battery has drained on your headphones or if want to use on a non-Bluetooth enabled device, then you can use the supplied AUX cable. The length of this cable is 140.0cm and is a standard 3.5mm AUX plug.
Once charged you’ll now want to pair the New Bee NB-6 ANC headphones to your mobile device or other suitable Bluetooth device. To do this, press the MFB button on the right ear-cup, this will power them on. Now, perform a Bluetooth search on your device and locate the option “NB-6” and simply connect.
Once connected these headphones will automatically connect to the last paired device upon powering on, so there’s no need to repeat this process every time.
Sound Quality of the New Bee NB-6 ANC.
The sound quality of the New Bee NB-6 ANC is awesome! The bass and treble tones are in perfect balance and each ear-cup produces the same level of sound too.
Honestly, they sound great, on multiple genres of music they produce excellent audio tones.
They also fit well, and my ears don’t feel squashed into the ear-cups. But, my ears do feel hot and sweaty after using these for around 30 minutes, so after a while they become uncomfortable due to heat being produced from your body and with no dissipation from the ear-cups.
The Active Noise Cancelling (ACN) feature doesn’t really add anything to your enjoyment of these headphones. By pressing the ANC button, the light turns Green, this is supposed to activate the ANC. But, I couldn’t find any difference between using this feature or not. The noise cancellation is already excellent and you’re not able to hear anything from around you anyway!
The noise isolation is also very good with very minimal audio bleeding can be heard from around you.
I’m not sure what the purpose of the ANC is on these headphones but all I know is if you select it you’ll get 30 hours audio playtime, without it you’ll get 65 hours, so the only noticeable thing is the battery levels!
Maybe this feature would be great in high noise area’s as the idea is to provide a second tone to cancel and replace the unwanted background sound.
But, in standard mode they’re excellent is blocking out any unwanted noise!
You also get a handsfree calling mode, you’re able to answer/end phone calls directly on your headphones. The microphone connection is very good, the other person can hear you very clearly and wouldn’t know you’re using a handsfree device. You’re also able to hear the caller nice and clearly too!

I love the New Bee NB-6 ANC Wireless Headphones. The sound is excellent, and so is the handsfree calling feature. My only issue is my hot, sweaty ears! So, if somehow New Bee can address this little issue for me, then these would be perfect.
Honestly, I cannot praise the sound enough, they’re good. The Bluetooth range is also good, and I even went 15M and they still had an excellent wireless connection, that’s 5M more than the advertised 10M.
