Today I’ll be writing about the Wuben Knight X0 Torch, a rechargeable EDC torch which is equipped with 6500K lamp beads, which can provide high output up to 1100 lumens and with a 175° ultra-wide-angle floodlight.
This is my second review for Wuben.
The Wuben X0 Torch has 7 lighting modes: Turbo/High/Med/Low/Moon/Strobe/SOS, with memory function. You can custom program the preferred brightness on modes below 300 lumens.
The outer body is constructed from aviation-grade aluminium alloy material.
You get a rechargeable ABJ1100N 18350 1100 mAh battery, an IP68 rated torch which is water resistant in fresh water to a maximum depth of 1.5 metres for up to 30 minutes and is protected from dust.
But is this torch any good? Time to test it out!
Packaging and Contents.
The Wuben Knight X0 Torch come packaged in a cardboard box, which shows product images and specifications printed on it. The box measures 10.0cm x 6.4cm x 6.5cm and weighs 160G.
Inside the box you’ll find the following: 1x Torch (with battery pre-installed), 1x USB-C Charger Cable, 2x Spare O-Rings, 1x Multi-Lingual User Guide.
The supplied USB-A/USB-C charger cable measures 65.0cm in length.
Wuben Knight X0 Torch.
The Wuben Knight X0 Torch measures 56.7mm x 24.0mm x 32.1mm and weighs 92G (with battery installed). You get a choice of colour, I have the white model, although it’s more light grey if I’m being honest with you. You get a clip and a powerful magnetic base.
The front of the torch body features a 18.6mm light head, this houses a Samsung LH351D 2670 Candela LED (a Osram P9 version is available). On top of the torch body, you’ll see the flip switch cover, underneath this you’ll see the USB-C charging port and the main switch.
You’ll need to fully charge the Wuben Knight X0 Torch prior to using. You can use the supplied USB-C cable, or use any other generic USB-C cable. Charging takes around 1.5 hours, and is indicated by a red charging LED light, turning blue when fully charged.
A single full charge can last up to 130 hours of use (on moon mode). You can easily check the current battery level by pressing the on/off switch. If you get a solid blue light for 5 seconds, then battery is 90%>, a half blue light for 5 seconds indicates a battery of 90%> – 40%, a solid red light 40%> – 15%, and a half red light indicate a low battery level of 15% – 0%.

You get 7 different light modes with the Wuben Knight X0 Torch. I’ll pop in a graph below of each mode and their capabilities.

These parameters are based on the Samsung LH351D LED, Wuben also have a Osram P9 LED version, which has a higher lumen output on turbo mode. The other notable differences are the light output/candela capabilities. The Samsung LH351D LED has a light distance of 103 metres and has a 2670-candela rating, whereas the Osram P9 has a light distance of 125 metres and with a 3920-candela rating. You also get a 175° wide angle lens too.
Interestingly you can operate the torch by pressing downward on the blue cover switch, without needing to flip up and push the button. Although you can still do that if you prefer.
To use the different light modes:
- On/Off: Single click the button. The torch has a memory feature, so will always resort to your last choice.
- Output Selection: When the torch is on, press and hold the power button to cycle through moon, low, medium, high, and back to moon again. Release on the setting you’d like to use.
- Instant Turbo: When the torch is on, double click the power button.
- Instant Moon: When the torch is off, long press the power button.
- Strobe/SOS Mode: When the torch is off, double click the power button to enter either SOS or Strobe mode.
You’re also able to lock the Wuben Knight X0 Torch. When the torch is off, click 4 times on the power switch, the LED will flash three times, to unlock repeat the process.
That’s not all. You’re also able to custom programme each light mode. You can customise the lumen level of Moon, Low, Medium, and High light modes.
Wuben supply two additional O-rings too, so you’ll always be able to maintain your investment.

Conclusion.
The Wuben Knight X0 Torch is a solid investment. The torch feels well built, you can feel the good quality and it feels good to handle too. I love both the clip and magnetic base features, giving you more options to use the torch handsfree. Most impressively is the light output, such a powerful light for a little body too.
