Twice Element Mixology Set

Today I’m going to be reviewing the Twice Element Mixology Set. This cocktail making set includes everything you’ll need to start making drinks like a pro!

Quality is the first impression you get when it comes to the Twice Element Mixology Set. Unlike other generic cocktail sets where you get a glass shaker, this set is different as you get two stainless-steel shakers. This makes it better as it not only prevents leaks, but also controls drink serving temperature much better.

So, whether you’re a beginner or a professional bartender, this set promises to be the perfect set.

So, is it any good? What is the quality like? Time to test it out!

Packaging and Contents.

The first thing you notice with this set is the packaging, it’s beautiful and of very high quality. Perfect for gifting!

The Twice Element Mixology Set comes packaged in a Black with Gold trim cardboard tube. This tube measures 28.5cm x 12.0cm and weighs 170G.

Upon opening the tube you’ll find the following: 1x Drawstring Bag, 2x Stainless Steel Boston Tumblers, 1x Jigger, 1x Bar Spoon, 1x Hawthorne Strainer, 1x Muddler. You’re supposed to have a cocktail making recipe booklet included too, but I was missing this!

Twice Element Mixology Set.

As mentioned previously the Twice Element Mixology Set features two stainless-steel shakers. These stainless-steel shakers are made from 304 Food Grade safe materials. When the two halves are put together the shaker measures around 25.5cm in height.

The tools provided are also made of high-quality rust-proof stainless-steel materials too. They will last you a very long time as they’re high quality and are designed to last.

In fact, the cocktail strainer has twice the coils you’d expect to find on a generic strainer, meaning less bits of fruit and ice entering your drink.

Twice Element say having two stainless-steel shakers as opposed to the traditional metal/glass shaker combo will ensure your drink making techniques remain leak-free. So, does it work? The answer is no, they still leaked! Maybe it’s my technique and lack of experience, or maybe they just leak!

But aside from that, the set feels very high quality and much better than anything that I’ve come across previously. The set looks very expensive too, and is the perfect gift, especially with the brilliant packaging that comes with the set. Honestly, the best packaging I’ve seen for ages!

Also, the accessories are also dishwasher safe, so no boring hand washing, bonus!

Conclusion.

I like the Twice Element Mixology Set. It feels very high in quality and in my opinion packaged with the best packaging I’ve seen for a long time, making it perfect for gifting!

Although the shaker still leaked when I tried it out, I’m not 100% sure if I was to blame or not. I’m certainly no bartending expert. There’s a science behind using the correct amount of ice to prevent leakage, possibly the ice makes the stainless-steel to contract and provide a tighter seal.

But I do know quality when I see it, and this set oozes quality. I can’t recommend enough for a gift.

My only real gripe is the fact I wasn’t supplied with a recipe booklet, maybe that would’ve given me the instruction needed to prevent leaks?
