Packaging and Contents.
The SoundPEATS PearlClip Pro Ear Clip Earbuds come packaged in a card box with a sleeve, featuring product images and specifications.
The box measures 10.5cm x 10.5cm x 3.5cm and weighs 147g.
Inside the box you’ll find the following:

The provided USB-C to USB-A cable is approximately 25cm in length.
While rather short, any standard USB-C cable can be used as an alternative.
SoundPEATS PearlClip Pro Ear Clip Earbuds.
The SoundPEATS PearlClip Pro Ear Clip Earbuds measure approximately 31.6mm x 27.5mm x 13.7mm and weigh just 5.8g each.
They’re available in a variety of colours and finishes.
SoundPEATS sent me a pair in black, but as you can see from the images, they have a galactic look to them.
Which I quite like, to be honest.
The charging case measures approximately 71.2mm x 45.7mm x 24.7mm and weighs 47.1g (with earbuds inside).
As you can see from the image below, it has the glossy, galactic finish that the earbuds have.
On one side of the charging case you’ll find a power button (to check the remaining battery level) and on the reverse a USB-C charging port.
Before using the SoundPEATS PearlClip Pro Ear Clip Earbuds, you’ll need to give them a charge via this USB-C port. You can use any power method, including the use of a power bank (ensure the charging current doesn’t exceed 1A).
Charging takes around 2 hours to fully charge both the earbuds and charging case.
Once the charging case has been charged, it’ll provide the earbuds with approximately 4 charges. This is all dependent, of course, on your chosen volume, equaliser, and mode use.
You also get an LED light on the charging case too. Below is what each light means.
- Under 20%: Red flashing light
- 20-69%: Amber flashing light
- 70-99%: Green flashing light
- Fully Charged: Solid green light

Touch Controls.
You get multiple touch-sensitive controls on each earbud, you can control the following:
- Volume Down: Single tap left earbud

- Answer/End Call: Double tap either earbud (double tap again to end)
- Reject Call: Tap and hold either earbud during an incoming call

It does however take some getting used to using these touch controls.
After years of using traditionally designed earbuds and then switching to a radically redesigned body, you have to reset your usual positioning to ensure you can utilise the touch controls correctly.

Simply pop them into the charging case, in any order, the case allows either way, and close the lid for 10 seconds and the SoundPEATS PearlClip Pro Ear Clip Earbuds will automatically reprogram to be either left or right.

I’m going to be honest, you can’t simply go from wearing traditionally designed earbuds and then use the SoundPEATS PearlClip Pro Ear Clip Earbuds seamlessly.
It takes some adjustment period to get used how they sit, where all the controls are etc.
At first they feel like they’re about to drop onto the floor.
But with persistence, they stay on the ear, like a pair of clip-on earrings.
Once you’re used to them, they’re very comfortable and with zero ear canal protrusion too, meaning no potential damage with pushing ear wax into your inner ears.
