Today I’ll be reviewing the Oliphant Miniature Indoor Greenhouse. This small windowsill sized greenhouse is ideal for home gardening, but on the small-scale side of things.

Made with both wood and plastic, the greenhouse is both sturdy and practical. You’re able to grow literally just about anything from the comfort of your own home.

The Oliphant Miniature Indoor Greenhouse doesn’t require any assembly, the lid simply fits over the greenhouse body and you’re good to go.

So, is this indoor greenhouse any good? Time to test it out!

Packaging and Contents.

The Oliphant Miniature Indoor Greenhouse comes packaged in a retail ready cardboard box. The box measures 22.5cm x 22.5cm x 15.0cm and weighs 560G.

Inside the box you’ll discover: 1x Main Body, 1x Lid, 1x Plastic liner.

Oliphant Miniature Indoor Greenhouse.

The Oliphant Miniature Indoor Greenhouse measures 22.0cm x 13.0cm x 22.0cm and is made from wood and plastic. The windows are made from plastic too, there’s a small air gap to one of them to allow some fresh air circulation also.

The lid sits on top of the greenhouse, but I did find the lid doesn’t sit properly on the lip of the greenhouse. I found the lip of the plastic liner was slightly too proud in height, so I had to cut away some of this excess. Now my lid sits perfectly on the greenhouse.

I decided to grow some Basil and placed the Oliphant Miniature Indoor Greenhouse on my kitchen windowsill, there’s always lots of natural light and so I thought it would be the best place. That was back in February 2021. The below image is from today, you’ll also see I decided to grow some tomatoes too.

The design of the Oliphant Miniature Indoor Greenhouse is heavily based on the look of a classic Victorian styled greenhouse. It’s an ideal gift idea and perfect for Father’s Day too. I’ll be transferring my Basil soon to another pot to allow it to fully grow and will start the process of starting to grow something else from seed. It’s a great product to kick start your seedlings.

Conclusion.

I really like the Oliphant Miniature Indoor Greenhouse. It’s a nice little gift that’s also very practical. I really like the design, except of course the inner plastic tray was a little too proud, but a quick snip and it was easily sorted. This is a great little gift idea too.

I highly recommend it.
