Today’s review is a little different, it’s for the iamcomfi Orthopaedic Coccyx Cushion. This specially shaped cushion has been designed to aid people with back problems and provide comfort.
iamcomfi is a UK based family run business and recently launched their Orthopaedic cushion onto the market. The sole purpose to provide comfort and assist people with a range of medical conditions such as; people with a bruised and/or injured coccyx, piriformis syndrome, lower back pain, herniated disc, haemorrhoids, hip pain, sciatica, bursitis to name a few.
It’s universal, portable, lightweight and can be used on just about any chair, including wheelchairs.
But is this cushion any good? Is it comfortable? Time to test it out!
Packaging and Contents.
The iamcomfi Orthopaedic Coccyx Cushion comes packaged in a cardboard box which features product images and specifications printed on it. This box measures 47.0cm x 38.0cm x 9.0cm and weighs 850G.
Upon opening the box you’ll find the following; 1x Cushion, 1x Carry Bag, 1x Bonus (Free) E-Book, 1x English Printed User Guide.
iamcomfi Orthopaedic Coccyx Cushion.
The iamcomfi Orthopaedic Coccyx Cushion is made from high-density memory foam and features a comfortable Black velour outer layer. The cushion measures 46.5cm x 36.5cm x 7.0cm. On the bottom there’re raised rubber anti-slip dots, this ensures the cushion will stay into position without moving.
I don’t have any medical diagnosed back related problems, but I do along with many other people suffer from lower back pain. This is due to poor posture and not sitting correctly on my office chair. The iamcomfi cushion can be used on office chairs. A first it takes some getting used to, but after a while it becomes comfortable.
But although it’s been designed to stop slipping, it still moves! Maybe it’s because I’m using a leather office chair, but it’s a little annoying!
The strange cut out at the back of the cushion relieves pressure on your tail bone.
You get a handle on the right-hand side for easier carrying. You’ll be pleased to know that the cover is 100% machine washable.
iamcomfi say it can be used in wheelchairs too, I’m no expert in this field, but I thought chairs where measured for the individual using them, adding another 7cm could impact the use of the chair. Again, don’t 100% quote me, I’m no expert by any means.
All I know is the cushion is very comfortable to sit on. I’ve been using mine for over a week and have had no lower back aches. So, for me it worked a charm. Apart from the movement of course.

Conclusion.
I quite like the iamcomfi Orthopaedic Coccyx Cushion. After nearly a week of use I don’t seem to have any lower back problems. But, it’s quite annoying when it moves about on the chair.
I like the supplied carrier bag too; it zips up and keep your cushion clean and safe.
I feel I must mention this too, but there’re many spelling mistakes on both the Amazon page and on the iamcomfi website, simple misspellings that make the brand look unprofessional. Especially to misspell things like haemorrhoids or orthopaedic, these are things you’re trying to promote for your product!
Overall, I recommend the iamcomfi Orthopaedic Coccyx Cushion, you also get a 30-day hassle-free money back guarantee too.
If you want the iamcomfi Orthopaedic Coccyx Cushion for yourself, it’s available for purchase only on Amazon. The RRP for this product is £39.79.
