The Elfeland Wake Up Light is a multi-purpose alarm clock that features sunrise/sunset simulation, and FM radio, and 6 built-in sounds.
You also get 6 different coloured LED lights, and you’re also able to adjust the brightness levels of these.
This wake-up light can be used by the supplied USB cable and comes with a battery back up to keep the time accurate in a power cut.
But is this light any good? Is it easy to set up? Time to test it out!
Packaging.
The Elfeland Wake Up Light come packaged in a White cardboard box with product images and printed specifications on it. The box measures 18.0cm x 18.0cm x 10.5cm and weighs 510G.

Upon opening the Elfeland Wake Up Light box you’ll find the following items. 1x Lamp, 1x AC Plug (UK Type), 1x Micro USB Cable, 1x Multi-Lingual User Guide.
Elfeland Wake Up Light.
The Elfeland Wake Up Light is White in colour and measures 17.0cm in diameter, the light has a total depth of around 10.0cm which includes the rear stand and weighs in total 230G.
On the front of the light you get multiple user buttons, these are (from left to right); Current Time, Alarm, Down, Light Setting, Up, Sunset, and FM Radio.
On the back you get 4 buttons, these are (from left to right); Volume Selection, Sound Selection, Time Format Selection, LED Intensity Selection. You’ll also see the cover that houses the 2x AAA batteries if you wish to use these. On the side is where the Micro USB cable port is located.
Setting up the Wake Up Light.
You can choose to 2x AAA batteries in the light, which will act as a backup if there’s a power cut, but you can’t use any other functions with only the batteries, only see the time. The Elfeland comes with a UK USB plug that converts 230V into the required 5V DC voltage. You also get an angled Micro USB cable too, which measures 115.0cm in length.
Upon first powering up the light you’ll see the clock is displayed as 00:00, you’ll need to set the time by pressing the clock button on the front and then pressing the plus and minus buttons to set the correct time, once happy press the clock button to confirm. To change between 12/24 time, press the 12/24 button on the back. That’s it! You’re all set!
Features.
The Elfeland Wake Up Light comes with many features, each one of these will be described further down.
Standard Night Light Function – Press the centre light setting button on the front and the wake-up light will glow a warm white colour, you can change the brightness by pressing either the plus or minus button the front. You get 12 different light levels to choose from, you can have either a slight glow or an intense light.
Colour Night Light Function – Pretty much the same as above apart from the light will cycle through 6 different light colours. Press the centre light setting button twice to enter the LED colour function. You can leave it to cycle through the different colours, or if you prefer to choose a colour of your choice use the plus or minus buttons and the light will stay that colour. But, you’re not able to control the brightness, and to be honest this LED colour function is bright!
Alarm Clock – Straight forward, set a time and the wake-up light will wake you up as any alarm clock would. You can select from either an alarm tone or choose from 6 different sounds.
Sunrise Function – Set a time to get up at and the wake-up light will gradually illuminate and assist you in getting out of bed.
Sunset Function – The opposite to the sunrise function, set a time and the wake-up light will gradually switch off.
Radio – You can choose the FM radio function to wake you up if you prefer. You can also use the FM radio on its own if you wish or if you can still get an FM radio signal!

Conclusion.
The Elfeland Wake Up Light is a great multi-purpose clock and night light. The colour changing LED lights would be better if you were able to change the brightness of them. But, the natural night light is great, even on the lowest setting it provides just enough light to illuminate a small space.
