Today I’ll be reviewing the EasyAcc USB Fan. This small desktop fan features a touch sensitive control with two fan speeds.
The unique twin fan blade design has been engineered to maximise air flow. Each fan blade moves in the opposite direction. Both feature a brushless motor; this ensures the fan can run as quietly as possible.
A convenient 5V DC USB power supply is all that’s required to use the fan. This ensures you can take the fan anywhere, including on the road in a vehicle too.
But is the fan any good? Time to test it out!
Packaging and Contents.
The EasyAcc USB Fan comes packaged in a white cardboard box which features product images and specifications printed on it. The box measures 14.0cm x 10.5cm x 15.0cm and weighs 365G.
Inside the box you’ll find the following: 1x Fan (with USB cable attached), 1x Multi-Lingual user guide.
EasyAcc USB Fan.
The EasyAcc USB Fan measures 13.6cm x 10.1cm x 14.0cm and weighs 276G. My version is white in colour with a silver base. You can choose either black or pink with a silver base if you’d prefer.
The fan has some angle adjustment. You can tilt upward/downward to a 20° angle. The base features a touch sensitive capacitive sensor, like your mobile phone. You need your finger to control the fan speeds. You simply touch anywhere on the silver base.
If you place the fan on a conductive surface such as metal, it won’t work. You need to choose non-conductive surfaces in order to provide an earth. I did try to place the fan on a long metal surface and to be lazy try to control the fan from a greater distance. But it didn’t work.
Using the Fan.
On the underside of the base they’re two silicone patches. This ensures your fan won’t blow itself of the table due to the falsely advertised high velocity air forces. The EasyAcc Amazon listing advertises high airflow capabilities, but it’s an exaggerated claim.
To use the fan, you need to supply a 5V DC power source. You can use any USB outlet such as ones you’ll find on your laptop, TV, and even a powerbank. The length of the supplied cable measure 1M.
The EasyAcc USB Fan has two fan speeds. Tap the base once for low, tap again for maximum speed, tap once more to turn it off.
The base is very touch sensitive, in fact in my opinion over sensitive. It’s one of those annoying devices that changes functions with the slightest touch. Either that, or I’m too conductive.
The fan speeds are OK. That’s it, nothing special and will certainly not blow you away (pun intended). Will it cool you down? Yes, if you’re next to it. It’s OK for having next to you whilst working away on your desk. EasyAcc advertise a low noise operation. The fan operates between 30dB (low fan speed) and 40dB (maximum fan speed).

Conclusion.
The EasyAcc USB Fan is OK. Nothing over special. It’s a standard desk type fan. I’m sure if you want a desk USB fan, you’ll be happy to use the EasyAcc version.
It’s one of those reviews where there’s nothing particularly wrong nor anything outstanding with this product. Obviously, EasyAcc have over-advertised the product in terms of high-power air flow. It works in the same way as any other desk fan.
If I had to pick one word to summarise the EasyAcc USB Fan it would be…
Meh!
If you want the EasyAcc USB Fan for yourself, it’s available for purchase only on Amazon. The RRP for this product is £5.99.
