CHOETECH T511 Wireless Charger

The CHOETECH T511 Wireless Charger is universally compatible wireless mobile phone charger for any Qi-enabled device.

You’re able to use this charger for many different brands and models including; iPhone Xs / Xs Max / Xr / X / 8 / 8 Plus, Samsung Note 9/ S9 / S8 / S7/ S6/ Note 8/Note 5 and any other Qi-enabled device.

You can even charge a device with a protective case still attached onto your phone (upto 5mm in thickness).

But is this charger any good? Will it work? Time to test it out!

Packaging.

The CHOETECH T511 Wireless Charger comes packaged very neatly in a White and Blue cardboard box which features product images and specifications printed on it.  The box measures 15.5cm x 11.5cm x 2.0cm and weighs 135G.

Upon opening the CHOETECH T511 Wireless Charger box you’ll find the following items. 1x Wireless Charge, 1x Micro USB Charging Cable, 1x English User Guide, 1x Company VIP Card.

CHOETECH T511 Wireless Charger.

The CHOETECH T511 Wireless Charger is Black in colour with an embossed anti-slip wireless symbol on top and measures 9.0cm x 9.0cm x 0.5cm and weighs 70G.

You can get this charger in a variety of different colours too, these include Blue, Gold, Red, and Rose Pink.

On one side there is the Micro USB input port, this is where you’ll need to put power into the wireless charger (The supplied Micro USB cable measures 120.0cm in length).

And, the other side is where you’ll see an LED indicator light which will turn Blue upon receiving correctly a mobile phone on the charging area.  The LED will not light up if a device has not been placed on the charger area correctly.

On the bottom there’re 4 rubberised non-slip feet.  These feet stop your charger from moving about and protect your chosen surface from damage too.

Using the Charger.

I have an iPhone 7, which doesn’t support Qi wireless charging from standard.  But CHOETECH do a Qi iPhone receiver.  This simply plugs into your phones lightning port and will enable a wireless charge.  I found this adapter works well and is sleek enough to fit inside a mobile phone case.

So, once I attached my Qi receiver I was ready to charge.  It’s just a simple task, place your device onto the non-slip area on the top of the charger, and your device will start to charge.  That’s it!

If you get your device off centre though, the LED light not illuminate, and your mobile phone won’t charge.

The CHOETECH T511 Wireless Charger will even charge your phone if you have a phone case attached.

The wireless charger is very thin and looks very modern.  I particularly like the non-slip aspect as it will provide some friction to keep your mobile phone safe without slipping off.

This charger though will not charge your mobile phone as quick as a wired charging connection though, so please bear that in mind.  It’s great though on a desk and trickle charging throughout the work day.

Conclusion.

I quite like the CHOETECH T511 Wireless Charger.  It’s very modern looking and charges your device very well, but obviously not as quick as a direct wired connection.  I also like the non-slip aspect of the design, you feel more assured that your device won’t just slide of from the charging area.
