Today I’m writing about some Bar Bespoke Novelty Glasses. These are just three from an extensive product range from Bar Bespoke, which is part of the wider parent company Jeray Ltd. I’ve had the absolute pleasure of reviewing numerous products from Jeray, their innovative and novelty giftware I highly rank as the best for both quality and value. So, when I received an email a few weeks ago asking if I’d like a box of goodies to review, I of course immediately responded with a resounding yes. So, look out over the coming weeks for a load of Bar Bespoke reviews!
For today’s review I thought I’d combine three products into one review, all of them are glasses and so it makes sense I guess, all are made from Borosilicate Glass, all are novelty items, all have gotten me drunk too ?.
All three novelty glasses are hand wash only, and certainly not dishwasher safe, so please bear that in mind. I was sent two products from the ‘In the Glass’ range and a Sipper Glass that’s shaped like a smoking pipe.
So, what are they like? Time to test them out!
Packaging and Contents.
Both the Fish in a Glass and Submarine in a Glass come packaged in a cardboard box measuring 11.0cm x 11.0cm x 11.0cm, the Pipe Sipper Glass box measures 20.0cm x 10.0cm x 11.5cm. Each glass is well protected inside the box, i didn’t have a single breakage.
Each box contains a drinking glass, both the submarine and fish in a glass measure 10.0cm x 10.0cm with a capacity of over 450ml, both are handmade using Borosilicate Glass. The Big Sipper Pipe Glass measures 17.0cm x 9.0cm x 6.5cm and has a capacity of 250ml, again made from Borosilicate Glass.
Bar Bespoke Novelty Glasses.
I was impressed with the appearance of both the Fish in a Glass and Submarine in a Glass; the intricate detail was awesome. As mentioned above both are handmade and require a hand wash to keep them clean. But this is where it gets a little difficult, you must be careful when hand washing, it could be so easy to snap of the internal features. Especially, if you’re using a cloth for example to clean, when it comes to the internal features it’s best to carefully clean using your fingers, using a cloth could easily snag and damage your glass.
Both glasses are nice to handle, they’re shaped perfectly to fit in your hand and a pleasure to drink from. If you’re adding ice cubes, these need to added carefully too.
The Big Sipper Pipe Glass.
The Big Sipper Pipe Glass is ideal for smoking cocktails, or for sipping and enjoying the aroma of your drink. You sip from the narrow tube at the end of the glass, like using a pipe to drink. It takes some practice to get right, I filled mine with Brandy, took a puff on the tube and nearly choked to death, after a few tries I sussed it. One thing I found impressive was there was no drips after each use, liquid quickly returns into the pipe body.

Conclusion.
I really like the Bar Bespoke Novelty Glasses. Novelty they most certainly are, I wouldn’t use them regularly, but as a gift or novelty item I really like them. They can be a bit fiddly to clean too, but again, this is because they’re novelty and not everyday use glasses.
It was certainly fun to review them though and would highly recommend them as a gifting idea.
