Setting up.

I’m new to the world of USB electronics, although I’m a qualified electrician the two aren’t the same and this is all new to me.  But, I want to give it a go and I’m sure the AVHzY CT-2 will be a useful addition to my reviewer’s toolkit for future reviews and tests.

You also get a software package included with the CT-2, all you need to do is use a head over to http://forum.avhzy.com/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=1&extra=page%3D1 and extract the ZIP files.  Once downloaded you’ll need to open the app called KotomApp.

Within this App you can change the display, upload a logo, and save screenshots of your collected data.

This is all going to take some weeks for me to learn how to work out how to do all of this, but I’m able to basically test for USB items and see basic information like voltage, amps, and watts.

There’s so much to the AVHzY CT-2 USB Power Meter Load Tester that you’ll be discovering new ways of measuring all the time.  Another useful feature is the new USB-C plug testing option for those devices that use the USB-C leads.  This is handy to test how good an advertised cable is.
