Acebeam Pokelit 2AA Flashlight

Today I’ll be writing a review for the Acebeam Pokelit 2AA Flashlight, I previously wrote a review for the Acebeam Pokelit AA Flashlight back in August 2022, and today I get to write about the bigger version of the same flashlight.

This flashlight is powered by a rechargeable 14100 3,7V 1600mAh Type-C battery, which is double the size of a standard AA battery. You also get a CRI 519A LED in 5000K and customised reflector, producing a fantastically great beam profile with defined broad spot with even output. You also get a maximum light lumen rating of 600 and with only two light outputs, low and high, this flashlight is easy to use. If it’s light distance you’re after, then you’ll be pleased to know the maximum distance of the Acebeam Pokelit 2AA Flashlight is around 101M and enjoys a 2,550 Candela rating too.

You’re also able to use two standard alkaline AA batteries too, although personally I love the rechargeable supplied USB-C battery, especially as you can directly charge onto the tip of the battery with no specialised charging system.

But is this flashlight any good? Time to test it out!

Acebeam Pokelit 2AA Flashlight.

The Acebeam Pokelit 2AA Flashlight is made from high-quality aluminium alloy and measures 144mm x 18.2mm x 17 mm and weighs 90G (with battery and clip included). You get a choice of black or forest green in colour, I chose forest green as I have enough black flashlights knocking about in the My Helpful Hints household.

The tail switch is textured for aided grip and enables a smooth one hand operation. The removable clip can easily rotate around the main body.

Battery.

The Acebeam Pokelit 2AA Flashlight comes supplied with a 14100 3,7V 1600mAh 5.92Wh Type-C battery rechargeable lithium-ion battery. To retrieve this battery, simply rotate the torch head anti-clockwise and you’ll see the battery there.

Charging is very simple thanks to the USB-C charging port located on the AA battery itself. Supply a typical 5V USB power source, charging indication can be seen by a red LED on the top of the AA battery, which turns green upon a fully charged cycle.

The Acebeam Pokelit 2AA Flashlight is IP68 water resistant and has a 1M impact resistance rating too. The main body features cooling fins that not only help with heat dissipation, but also adds some extra grip whilst handling.

I like the easy low and high light selection too, simply press the tail switch, the flashlight will enter low mode, turn it off and back on again and you’ll enter high mode. The Acebeam Pokelit 2AA Flashlight doesn’t have a memory function, so next time you turn it on, it’ll enter low light mode. I tried out the Acebeam Pokelit 2AA Flashlight using the supplied rechargeable battery. I stood in the same position and focused on a fixed object which was approximately 3M away.

As you can see, the low light level is great for short range viewing, plus will last upto 23 hours on this setting too, the highest setting obviously is great for long distance use. But, for standard walking and use the low level is more than adequate to be able to see clearly where you’re walking.

Conclusion.

The Acebeam Pokelit 2AA Flashlight is very impressive indeed, nothing too complicated, a nice, simple, and easy to use flashlight. I’m building quite the collection of flashlights, you can never have too many can you? well, that’s my excuse and this is another one for the collection.

Being rechargeable is a huge bonus and with a universal charging option making this flashlight very user friendly.

Highly recommended.
