The PINGKO PK-303 weather station comes packaged very neatly in a Brown cardboard box, there are product images and specifications printed on it too. The box measures 21.0cm x 20.5cm x 7.5cm and weighs 601G.

Upon opening the PINGKO PK-303 box you’ll find the following items. 1x Indoor Unit, 1x Outdoor Unit, 1x Micro USB Cable, 1x UK Plug Adapter, 2x AAA batteries, 1x English User Manual.

PINGKO PK-303 Weather Station.

The PINGKO PK-303 Weather Station is made from plastic. It’s Black in colour and measures 17.5cm high x 11.0cm wide and has a depth of 5.5cm and weighs 325G.

The indoor unit is sleek and modern looking. On the back you’ll find the Micro USB interface and the On/Off toggle switch.

On the bottom of the weather station there is 5 user control buttons. These are the M/S Button, +/CH Button, -/CH Button, MEM Button, and Snooze Button.

Using the PINGKO PK-303 Weather Station.

The first thing that you need to do to start using this weather station is to install the supplied AAA batteries into the White outdoor remote sensor.

The next thing you need to do is plug in the Micro USB cable (Which has a length of 100cm) into the supplied AC plug adapter and the other end into the back of the weather station into the USB interface and power it on.

You need to place the indoor unit on a flat and level surface in your chosen room, do not keep hold of it, or place it near any heat sources as it will detect false temperature room readings.

You need to place the outdoor sensor externally and within a 30M range, but this range can be reduced if the signal has been obstructed due to internal walls and room fixtures.

User Settings.

The PINGKO PK-303 comes with an in-built alarm clock function, to use this function you need short press the M/S button and cycle through the functions until you see the display AL. To set the alarm press and hold the M/S Button and use the +CH button to set a time, when the bell icon appears the alarm has been set.

The display of the PINGKO PK-303 is easy to read and has colourful digital icons. You can also set user preferences like 12/24-hour clock settings and Celsius/Fahrenheit temperature settings.

You’re able to see a weather icon display for sunny weather, cloudy weather, or rainy weather.

Conclusion.

I like this weather station from PINGKO. I like the clear colourful icons and graphics that the indoor unit displays. There’re a couple of things that do need some improvement, the first is a longer Micro USB cable, the supplied 100cm cable is just not long enough or better still a rechargeable cable free option would also be great. The user guide although is written in English needs to be re-written to make it easier and clearer to understand as some of the instructions printed are complicated and could be made clearer for the English-speaking market.

Overall though I still love this weather station and recommend you purchase one for your household.
