Today I’m going to be reviewing these NIERBO Magnetic Bluetooth Earphones. This brand was founded in 2014 and produce quality products for the Audio and Visual market.
These earphones that I’ve been sent can be clipped together magnetically and feature a seamless V4.2 Bluetooth connection.
The IPX6 (Splash Proof) waterproof design ensures you can use them in an outdoor environment without any issues.
A rechargeable 120mAh battery will ensure a long playtime of around 6 hours and CVC 8.0 noise isolation ensure you can be totally immersed in your music library.
But are they any good? Are they comfortable to wear? Time to test them out!
Packaging and Contents.
The NIERBO Magnetic Bluetooth Earphones come packaged in a plastic windowed cardboard sleeved box which features product images and specifications. The packaging measures 14.5cm x 10.0cm x 2.5cm and weighs 90G.
Upon opening the box you’ll find the following; 1x Earphones, 1x Micro USB Cable, 1x Ear Fins, 1x Wire Clip, 3x Silicone Ear Tips, 1x Chinese/English User Guide, 1x NIERBO Contact Card.
NIERBO Magnetic Bluetooth Earphones.
The NIERBO Magnetic Bluetooth Earphones are White in colour. They measure (from ear tip to the other ear tip) 65.0cm and weigh only 16G. The ear fins are designed to go over the top of the ear tips and keep the earphones in place of your ear. The fins themselves are made from soft silicone materials.
The NIERBO Magnetic Bluetooth Earphones clip together magnetically and keeps them secure around your neck when not in use.
You also get in-line user controls too, this control is located on the right-hand side of the earphones and will control volume, track selection and answer/end phone calls.
Charging and Setting Up.
Being rechargeable means the NIERBO Magnetic Bluetooth Earphones will need charging before you start using them. To do this all you need to do is either use the supplied Micro USB cable (Which has a length of 20.0cm) or use any generic Micro USB Cable. It’s the same type of cable as an Android phone charger!
The Micro USB charging port is located on the in-line user control.
You’ll also need to plug the USB cable into 5V DC power source to give these earphones a full charge. Charging takes around 2 hours and will give you around 160 standby time and 6 hours playtime.
Once charged you’ll need to pair these earphones to your device, to do this power them on and perform a search on your mobile phone and connect to the option ‘X3’. You’ll now be paired and ready to play music. After a first-time installation the next time you power them on, they’ll automatically connect to the last known device.
Fitment and Controls.
NIERBO give you in total 3 pairs of different shaped/sized silicone tips to try out and find the right fit for you and your ears. Choosing the correct tip is important for two different factors.
The first is an obvious one, it’s for comfort and ensure they’ll not only fit into your inner ear canal but also will stay in place too. The second reason is to improve the sound quality, an ill-fitting ear tip can reduce the quality of your audio experience, this is because of sound leakage and background noises can be detected by your ears. To change a tip simply pull the tip off the earphones and push on a new one.
I found them to fit very well in the ear and overall very comfortable to wear.
You can control your music using the controls on the in-line user control area. Below is what you can do with these controls.
Play/Pause: Press the middle power button to play and pause audio.
Volume Up/Down: Press and hold the + button to increase volume and the – button to decrease volume.
Track Selection: Press either the + button to go back a song, press the – button to skip a track.
Answer/End Phone calls: Press the middle power button to answer a call, press it again to end a call.
It’s rather strange that the + button will increase the volume but won’t skip forward a track and you must use the – button to skip a track.
I was quite surprised by the sound quality. They’re quite punchy in bass and have clear sound without any Bluetooth signal loss whatsoever.
Balance seems to be equal in both ears and the fitment of the ear tips cut out almost every piece of background environment noise (Noise Cancellation) and the you can become totally immersed into your music. Sound leakage (Noise Isolation) is also very good, even at high audio levels.
You also get a built-in microphone which enables you to make clear handsfree phone calls. This microphone is very good, and the end caller can hear you nice and clear.

I’m pleasantly surprised with the NIERBO Magnetic Bluetooth Earphones. They perform well and sound fantastic, they’re also very comfortable to wear too. My only issue is the in-line user control function. It makes much more sense for the + button to control both volume increase and track skipping rather than the backward way these controls are currently setup.
But aside from that issue, these earphones from NIERBO are very good and for the price are surprisingly good.
If you want the NIERBO Magnetic Bluetooth Earphones for yourself, they’re available for purchase only on Amazon. The RRP for this product is £17.59.
