Today I’ll be writing a review for Exercise N Play. Exercise N Play asked me to review one of their building block sets. I had a quick browse and instantly became intrigued. These building bricks are compatible with other branded bricks. Including some Danish branded brick 😉.
Anyway, back to Exercise N Play, you get a huge selection of sets from military, police, ocean, transport, space and many more. I chose a space explorer set, which has 1091 pieces, so it should be quite the test. The first notable thing you notice with the Exercise N Play sets is the price, if you’ve seen other branded sets, you’ll know exactly what I mean.
Is the Exercise N Play set any good? Time to test it out!
Packaging and Contents.
The Exercise N Play comes packaged in a blue cardboard box which shows product images printed on it. The box measures 41.5cm x 31.5cm x 10.0cm.
Inside the box you’ll find 11x separate numbered bags, 1x brick separator, 2x sheets of stickers, and 1x illustrated step-by-step instruction. You’ll be pleased to hear the instruction manual is clear and easy to follow, the set I have is broken down onto 78 pages.
You also get a brick separator tool. The tool is very clever as it can be rotated and flipped to suit a multitude of brick removals. There’s a prong on the underside to help push rodded parts into certain bricks.
Exercise N Play.
You get 11 separate numbered bags with the set I selected. Each one collates to the instruction manual and helps you to easily piece together each component of the set. The set I have has 6 separate builds that make up the complete build.
I thoroughly enjoyed building each piece, some even have open elements that allow you to use a crane for example, adding an extra element to your build and use. I think each piece is simply brilliant. Very detailed and very high quality too. You know that well-known brick brand, well, the Exercise N Play feels exactly the same to handle.
Exercise N Play does supply some extra spares, especially the little pieces that may become lost in the build. I thought this was a nice touch, and very welcomed as I lost a couple of pieces myself. The recommended age for this kit is 6 and above.

I really like the Exercise N Play set. I found the step-by-step instruction manual very easy to follow. There’s nothing negative to say to be honest, I thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of the build. You get excellent value for money in my opinion.
Would I recommend the set? Yes, absolutely!
If you’d like to purchase this item, please check out the purchasing options below. The RRP for this product is £79.99.
Its worth noting the space set I reviewed is only available on Amazon. The Exercise N Play website has different models available. The website allows for worldwide postage but all currency is in USD, which is slightly annoying for those based outside of the USA.
