Cloe’ Louis Wedge Pillow

I’ll be writing today about the Cloe’ Louis Wedge Pillow. This cheese shaped foam pillow has been designed to support your back whilst you lay down.

The angle of the pillow provides the ideal positioning, to help recover and relax from a variety of issues. It’s ideal for individuals who suffer from Acid Reflux, Heartburn GERD and Back/Posture Pains, Indigestion or breathing and/or respiration related conditions.

I suffer from Asthma and when my Asthma flares up, I normally struggle to prop up my pillows to assist me whilst in bed. I can never get the right angle, and if I do, they flop down again.

So, in theory the Cloe’ Louis Wedge Pillow would be the ideal pillow for such Asthma attacks. And, also the cover is removable and washable, again great for Asthma sufferers.

But is this pillow any good? Is it comfortable? Time to test it out!

Packaging and Contents.

The Cloe’ Louis Wedge Pillow comes packaged in plastic, Amazon had it shipped to me in a big cardboard box. This box measured 650mm x 500mm x 350mm. Inside the box Amazon also included around 25M of Brown paper. I’m pretty sure a pillow packaged in plastic would be fine to ship in that condition without the added exterior box and inner paper.

Upon opening this massive box, you’ll find the following; 1x Pillow.

Cloe’ Louis Wedge Pillow.

The Cloe’ Louis Wedge Pillow is made from high-density foam, the pillow measures approximately 51.0cm x 46.0cm x 28.0cm.

The outer cover features a zip closure and is completely removable and machine washable. The pillow is fire resistant and conforms to BS7177:2008.

I found the pillow to be comfortable, even as a footrest, but after use it’s so big that storage is a problem. Where do you put such a big pillow when not in use? Also, the outer cover started to fray and produce what can only be described as cotton spider webs everywhere. So, the outer cover is not very durable at all!

I’ve not needed to use the pillow for my Asthma, but I know the angled will be perfect for when I do need to use it.

The Cloe’ Louis Wedge Pillow can be used for other medical issues and is perfect for people who suffer with back pains and other related issues.

Conclusion.

I like the Cloe’ Louis Wedge Pillow in principle. But storage is a major problem. It’s so hard to store a big cheese shaped pillow. Also, the outer case is poor in quality, it frays, and you get strands coming off everywhere.

But as a pillow for propping yourself up with, its actually very good. You get a perfect angle and is perfect for Asthma sufferers.

Overall, I do recommend the pillow, but the biggest problems for me is storage and the outer case.
