Packaging and Contents.

The Betron AX5 comes packaged in a cardboard box. The box has a high-quality feel to it and even comes with a magnetic closure! This box feels sturdy and you get a sense before you even look at the AX5 earphones that they’re going to be great quality. The box measures 18.5cm x 10.5cm x 2.5cm and weighs 145G.

Upon opening the Betron AX5 box you’ll find the following items. 1x Earphones, 1x Travel Bag, 3x Different Type/Sizes of Ear-Tips, 1x Wire Clip, 1x English User Manual, 1x Betron VIP/Warranty Card.

Betron AX5 Earphones.

The Betron AX5 Earphones are a two-tone designed set of earphones, the colour scheme is Black and Gold. The main cable is also 1.2M in length and made with Thermoplastic Elastomers (TPE) this is mixed blended material of plastic and rubber, this TPE blend ensures the Betron AX5 cable is strong and durable and built to withstand heavy usage. The Betron AX5 weighs 18G.

You get full in-line control functions too! You’re able to control track selection, volume, and answer calls. This can all be done with just one button; the centre button is the master control button.

The Centre Button.

Play or pause a song or video – Press the centre button once. Press again to resume playback.

Skip to the next song or chapter – Press the centre button twice quickly.

Fast-Forward – Press the centre button twice quickly and hold.

Go to the previous chapter – Press the centre button three time quickly.

Rewind – Press the centre button three times quickly and hold.

Answer or end a call – Press the centre button once to answer. Press again to end the call.

Decline an incoming call – Hold down the centre button for about two seconds, then let go. When you let go, the two beeps confirm that you have declined the call.

Switch to an incoming or on-hold call and put the current call on hold – Press the centre button once. Press again to switch back to the first call.

Switch to an incoming call or on-hold call and end the current call – Hold down the centre button for about two seconds, then let go. When you let go, two low beeps confirm that you have ended the call.

The 3.5mm Earphone Jack.

The 3.5mm earphone jack on the Betron AX4 is Gold in colour, it’s also made from metal and is compatible with your iPhone, iPod, iPad, Android, and Samsung mobile phones. The earphone jack features a 3 pole Tip Ring Ring Sleeve (TRRS) for Left Audio, Right Audio, Ground and Microphone.

Using the Betron AX5 Earphones.

I found wearing and using the Betron AX5 Earphones very comfortable, they seem to fit nicely into the ear canal and the noise cancellation is fantastic. You do get a pair of standard silicone ear-tips already supplied onto the earphones, but you also get a further 3 different types of silicone ear-tips to suit your needs.

The sound produced by the Betron AX5 is of excellent quality, you can hear the distinctive bass tones on a track and without any distortion too! The cable feels strong and durable also, I felt confident that the cable would not only be tough but also not tangle up.
