Fused glass art, homeware & jewellery made in Derbyshire
I am an award winning designer and creator of decorative fused glass artwork homeware and jewellery. Glass fusion is my passion and I have been creating in my studio in Derbyshire since 2017.
Glass fusing is the technique used to join glass pieces together by partly melting the glass at high temperature in a kiln. Once the pieces are fused together, they can be made into jewellery or larger pieces can be slumped on or draped over mould to create bowls, plates, vases and all kinds of art. The possibilities are endless and every finished piece is one of a kind.
I believe in beautiful design and careful execution while allowing the natural variations that are a result of the firing/melting process to enhance the finished piece.
I take my inspiration from the natural world to produce simple and beautiful designs, flowers, trees and oceans are all captured in my work.
