Are you looking for a set of over-ear headphones that can deliver powerful Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), boast an incredible battery life, and are comfortable enough for all-day wear?
The TOZO HT2 Headphones position themselves as a strong contender in the market, blending advanced features with an affordable price tag.
In the ever-evolving world of personal audio, finding a set of headphones that balances high-fidelity sound with everyday practicality is a challenge.
Many budget-friendly options compromise on crucial elements like comfort, battery life, or the effectiveness of noise cancellation.
TOZO has built a reputation for providing user-focused audio products that deliver impressive performance for their cost.
Today, I’m taking a proper look at their latest offering: the TOZO HT2 Headphones.
These boast a hybrid ANC algorithm, Hi-Res audio certification via their dual ϕ40mm dynamic drivers, and a huge 60 hours of playtime.
I’m keen to explore how the TOZO HT2 performs in real-world scenarios, particularly its comfort during long sessions, the quality of its sound, and whether those impressive features can handle my daily routine, from listening to music to watching live broadcasts.
Right then, let’s jump into the full review and see exactly how the TOZO HT2 Headphones perform!
Packaging and Contents.
The TOZO HT2 Headphones typically arrive in clean, simple, white packaging that highlights the key features.

The box is compact and reflects the lightweight nature of the headphones inside, which weigh only 254.5g.
Inside the box, you’ll find all the essential items needed to get started:
- The TOZO HT2 Wireless Over-Ear Bluetooth Headphones
- 3.5mm analog audio cable
- Charging Cable (USB Type-C)
- Quick Guide and User Manual

A noteworthy point here is the inclusion of the 3.5mm cable, which immediately highlights the dual-connection capabilities of these headphones.
Design, Comfort, and Portability.
The TOZO HT2 Headphones sports a design built for extended use.
It weighs a comfortable 254.5g and uses ultra-soft protein leather earcups, which allow you to wear it for a long time without feeling uncomfortable.
I found them to be very comfortable to wear, with no hot ears or anything uncomfortable like that.

This makes them ideal headphones to work from home or watch your favourite movie.
The earmuffs can also automatically adjust the angle to suit users with different head shapes, ensuring an easy and snug fit.
The design is also focused on portability.
The foldable and lightweight design allows you to fold and place the headphones anywhere.
You can easily fold the headphones into carrying bags and travel cases, taking up less space in your backpack.
This makes them perfect for travel, sports, and everyday use.
The headphones are available in a great range of colours, including Black, Blue, Pink, White, Khaki (the colour option I have), Purple, and Red.
Sound Quality and Connectivity.
The TOZO HT2 Headphones break the single connection method by supporting both wireless (Bluetooth 5.3) and wired connections.
Equipped with dual ϕ40mm dynamic drivers, they bring you superior Hi-Res audio sound with a well-balanced deep bass.
When using the wired connection, the custom oversized ϕ40mm dynamic drivers produce Hi-Res sound for extraordinary clarity and detail.
The wide frequency response range of 16Hz−45kHz suggests great audio potential, although the supported wireless codecs are limited to AAC/SBC.

Crucially, you can tailor your listening experience using the Intelligent TOZO APP.
This app offers a selection of EQs to tailor the sound to your preferences, allowing you to enjoy different styles of music with ease.
ANC, ENC, and Battery Life.
One of the standout features of the TOZO HT2 is its robust noise cancellation system.
It features a hybrid ANC algorithm and 3 ANC microphones that deliver exceptional noise control across a wide frequency range.
The noise control modes offer great flexibility: Noise Cancellation, Transparency Mode, Reduce Wind Noise, Leisure Mode, Normal Mode, and Adaptive Mode.
In addition to the ANC, the excellent Tri-Mic ENC (Environmental Noise Cancellation) call noise cancellation makes it possible for you to talk clearly, even on noisy streets.
Battery life is a massive plus here. With a 500mAh battery, you get up to 60 hours of listening time in ANC OFF mode, or 40 hours with Max Noise Cancellation.
A single charge gives you enough juice for multiple long-haul flights.
The headphones fully charge in a quick 2 hours via the USB Type-C port, and the included 3.5mm audio cable provides an essential fallback, guaranteeing uninterrupted listening even when the battery has finally run out.
The Latency and Usability Glitch.
While the headphones excel in comfort and battery life, I did encounter a significant usability issue that buyers should be aware of: there is no dedicated gaming or low-latency mode.
When watching a live TV broadcast via the Bluetooth connection, there is a notable latency lag and lip sync issue.
I found that to watch a live broadcast, I absolutely needed to utilise the included 3.5mm cable.
This instantly stopped the latency issue.
However, a further frustration arose, as the TOZO HT2 Headphones had previously been connected to my Google Pixel 8 via Bluetooth, my phone kept popping up with a connection request box, interrupting my viewing.

The only way to prevent this and stop the interruptions was to toggle the Bluetooth off on my phone entirely.
This is a cumbersome workaround for what should be a seamless experience.

Final Thoughts.
The TOZO HT2 Headphones are a compelling package, delivering exceptional value for money.
They excel in the core areas of comfort, battery endurance, and noise cancellation, making them fantastic companions for music listening, commuting, and long work sessions.
I was genuinely impressed by how comfortable they were for extended periods.
However, the lack of a low-latency mode and the associated frustration when trying to use them for live video via Bluetooth is a significant drawback.
While the wired option fixes the sync issue, the subsequent need to manually turn off your phone’s Bluetooth is a definite glitch in the user experience.
If your primary use is music, podcasts, or pre-recorded video, these are highly recommended.
If, however, you plan to frequently watch live broadcasts or use them for critical-timing gaming via Bluetooth, you should factor in the cable-and-Bluetooth-toggle workaround.
Pros and Cons.
