Sephia SP9090 Earphones.
The Sephia SP9090 Earphones are two-tone with a Black and Gunmetal Grey colour scheme with a metal housed earbud. You get a cable with a length of 1.2M and which is made from reinforced, tangle-free materials. The Sephia SP9090 Earphones weigh 15G.
These earphones will work in just about any device and are fitted with a standard 3.5mm jack plug. You can use these in your iPhone, Android Smartphone, MP3 Player (Do people still use these!), Laptop, Tablet, and any other device with a 3.5mm input port. The earphone jack features a 2 pole Tip Ring Sleeve (TRS) for Left Audio, Right Audio only, you can’t use these for calling as they don’t feature a microphone input!
The ear tips are easy to change and Sephia have provided you with 7 different sized tips, some of these are even made from different materials. Some are the standard Silicone, but some are even made from soft Memory Foam! Sephia are really spoiling your ears!
To change a tip, simply pull off the tip from the earphone and slide a new tip on. That’s it!
Using the Sephia SP9090 Earphones.
Using these earphones are a pretty straight forward task, but I have an iPhone 7, so I need to use the Apple Lightning to 3.5mm earphone adapter in order to use these. But, that’s not a big issue really, apart from it renders my lightning port useless for anything else like charging my device. But, that’s not any fault with Sephia, it’s an Apple design. If you have an iPhone 7 or later, you’ll understand this frustration.
Maybe Sephia could supply an adapter with the package for those people who might of lost their original adapter, as I’m sure more people will have or soon have more later designed iPhones!
But aside from me moaning about my phone these earphones feel high quality, the cable feels sturdy and tough, which is good. Tangling is also not an issue with the Sephia SP9090, which is the number one issue why earphones stop working. Usually cables twist and the cable internally breaks away and you lose audio in driver or even both! But, the cables of the Sephia SP9090 are designed not to tangle and twist, so they should prevent cable breakage.
The sound (Which is quite important in earphones) is…
FANTASTIC!
I’m not messing about, the sound is truly great, I love the bassy tones and I can hear clearly audio tones too. You also get fantastic noise cancellation and are unable to hear any other noise except from your own device. Another great feature is the noise isolation, you can happily listen to your bassy tunes without peeing off your fellow beings with annoying audio leakage like back in the days!
Other Features of the Sephia SP9090 Earphones.
This model does not feature any inline controls, but Sephia have an upgraded version (For an additional £2.00) with inline control buttons and a microphone too, so you can make hands-free calls. But, as for me I will have to make do with controlling my audio via my iPhone directly and not answer any PPI calls.
You also get a Neoprene travel pouch supplied by Sephia, this pouch is a perfect fit for your SP9090 earphones, then they can stay protected and easily store in your pocket for easy audio hook up and storage.
Now onto the price, you might expect these to cost an arm and leg. But, they’re available on Amazon right now for under £10.00. So, these are not only a great sounding set of earphones but they’re also an absolute bargain too!
