Can the Roadiff 20W Fast Charger quickly charge an iPhone to 60% in 30 minutes? How about a 1M cable that can transfer files of upto 480Mbps? All for under £12.00? Let’s find out!
Back today with another USB-C/Lightning charger and cable. I have reviewed a few of these types of single ported USB-C chargers now on the site, so kind of know what to expect.
The Roadiff version comes supplied with a 1M cable. You can use this cable for your Lightning ported Apple devices, the cable and charger combo allows for a data transfer rate up to 480Mbps. A 1GB large file can be completed in 25 seconds.
You can also utilise the charger for all USB-C powered devices too, simply use the USB-C port and use another cable. The 20W rated power is more than your standard charger you’re supplied with your mobile device, so charging times are quicker
This particular charger is MFI certified, and comes with overload, overheating, and short-circuit protection.
Let’s get to the review!
Packaging and Contents.
The Roadiff 20W Fast Charger comes packaged in a zip type packet, no cardboard packaging.
Inside the packet you’ll get the following: 1x Charger, and 1x USB-C/Lightning cable.
Roadiff 20W Fast Charger.
The Roadiff 20W Fast Charger measures 52.6mm x 48.4mm x 45.5mm, and when plugged into a wall socket measures 29.5mm x 48.4mm x 45.5mm, the charger weighs 45G. You get a single USB-C port, located on the bottom area.
The supplied USB-C/Lightning cable measures 1M in length. It feels quite thin and measures 2.2mm in thickness, most cables I review these days have a thickness of 3.2mm, so the Roadiff cable has been on a diet.
You get a blue LED power indicator light on the front. Reassuringly, the Roadiff 20W Fast Charger has both CE and UKCA markings. The outer casing is made from fireproof material, and the charger features overload, overheating, and short-circuit protection.

Conclusion.
The Roadiff 20W Fast Charger is alright, works as intended and produces a 20W power delivery (PD) charge for your device. The cable feels a little thin, and I’m not convinced it’ll last with prolonged use, but for what you’re paying, and receiving, it’s still a lot cheaper than an original charger/cable combo.
