Today I’ll be reviewing the Jeray Mixology Globe Decanter. This hand-blown Borosilicate Glass decanter is the perfect gift and can spin gently upon its own axis.
The stopper is made from glass too and has a rubber bung to ensure your globe remains airtight.
The Jeray Mixology Globe Decanter has a 750ml capacity, ideal for your favourite tipple.
But is it any good? What is the quality like? Time to test it out!
Packaging and Contents.
The Jeray Mixology Globe Decanter comes packaged in a gift designed cardboard box. The box measures 25.5cm x 15.5cm x 23.0cm and weighs 460G.
Upon opening the box you’ll find the globe in three different sections. You get the main globe, a stand, and a glass/rubber stopper.

The Jeray Mixology Globe Decanter is made from Borosilicate Glass. This type of glass is designed to be resistant to thermal shock, so it won’t crack under extreme temperature differences. The globe has been hand-blown and has a frosted pattern of the globe printed onto it.
The stand enables the globe to perfectly balance, it also allows you to gently spin the globe too! Although great care should be taken if doing this. Also, after a while I’m confident the neck of the stand will start to scratch the globe as there’s an abrasive glass on glass effect happening.
The glove has a circumference measurement of 38.0cm, stands at 19.0cm, and has width of around 22.0cm. The decanter weighs 230G (empty of any liquid) and has a 750ml capacity.
I like the globe pattern; it seems accurate enough. I also think the decanter is a perfect gift.
Maintaining the globe decanter is where you’ll encounter some issues. Firstly, its hand wash only, this become quite difficult due to tit’s unique shape, you’ll find it near impossible to 100% clean internally the globe. Secondly this type of glass and product shape will attract dust and everyday grime, which will be a nightmare to keep clean and could smear the outer appearance if improperly cleaned.
I’d suggest the use of a Microfibre cloth with no cleaning products on it whatsoever. That’ll both clean and shine the outer glass.

Conclusion.
I like the Jeray Mixology Globe Decanter. It’s a cool gift and would look great on a desk or something similar. It’s well made and feels good quality too. But keeping it clean is where you’ll encounter some issues, especially internally. But I still like it, and the rubber and glass stopper is great at keeping air out, and keeping liquid in!
Overall, I highly recommend it and suggest you purchase one today, especially as Christmas is fast approaching.
