HYLOGY Pulse Oximeter.
The HYLOGY Pulse Oximeter is Black in colour, but other colours are available. The Oximeter measures 5.5cm x 3.0cm x 3.0cm and the OLED screen has a measurement of 2.2cm x 1.2cm and the Oximeter has a weight of 55G.
You get a single power on/off button and a colourful, easy to read OLED screen. Batteries are inserted on the reverse, you need to slide the battery cover and insert the 2x AAA batteries.
On the inside a soft foam lined cushion ensures this fingertip Oximeter is comfortable.
Using the Oximeter.
Using the HYLOGY Pulse Oximeter couldn’t be easier, simply place your finger into the oximeter and power it on using the power button. The oximeter will start to work with an audible beep and displays your Sp02 Value, Pulse Waveform, Pulse Rate Value, Pulse Bar Graph, Heart Beat Mark and even a battery indicator level!
The display can rotate in all four directions, to do this press the power button when in use and the display will cycle through on each press of the button.
A harsher beeping will happen if the readings are beyond a normal measured range of Sp02 <90, PR <50 BPM or >120 BPM.
I found the audible beeping sound quite relaxing when in use, and the beep is in time with your actual heartbeat, so the faster your heartbeat the quicker the beeping tone. The Sp02 readings seems accurate with other devices that I’ve used before and being Asthmatic this little device is great to keep control of my oxygen levels in my blood.
If you want to quietly have a reading you need to simply press and hold the power button for two seconds when in use to get a muted reading.
