Packaging and Contents.
The FIFINE Ampligame AM6 Microphone comes packaged in a rather plain looking brown box which shows product images and specifications printed on it.
The box measures 26.5cm x 15.5cm x 11.3cm and weighs 666G.
Inside the box you’ll find the following: 1x Microphone (with removable pop filter), 1x USB-A/USB-C Cable, 1x English User Guide.

Anyway, back to the written review. The supplied USB-A/USB-C cable measures 205cm in length, which is very generous as usually the cable you’re supplied with is more like a token cable.
FIFINE Ampligame AM6 Microphone.
The FIFINE Ampligame AM6 Microphone measures 21.0cm in height and has a diameter of around 9.0cm and weighs 418G.
The thumbscrew on the left hand side allows you to tilt and angle the microphone precisely where you want it. The base keeps the microphone in place without movement.
You can clip on/off the supplied pop filter, you can also rotate to suit your needs.
On the front of the microphone you get a single balance knob. Simply rotate to suit your preference between the sound of the game or chat.
On the right hand side you get two smaller knobs, the first (top) adjusts the microphone gain, the second (below) adjusts the headphone volume.
On the base of the microphone itself you get two buttons and a port, these are (from left to right), the noise cancelling button to eliminate background noises, the RGB button to change light patterns (more on this later), and the headphone jack, you can use any 3.5mm jack.
The top of the microphone features a touch sensitive mute/unmute function, the LED on the front lets you know whether you’re muted with a red light, a green light means the microphone is active.
On the back there’s a USB-C power port.
RGB Modes.
Who doesn’t love a RGB light show? With the FIFINE Ampligame AM6 Microphone you get 4 different modes. A quick tap of the RGB button let’s you choose from:
- Static Two-Tone Colour Mode: Within this mode you can choose from 6 different two-tone colours
- Static Single Colour Mode: Choose from 6 static colours.
- Dynamic Two-Tone Colour Gradient Mode: The microphone will automatically cycle through multiple two-tone colours.
- Single Colour Breathing Mode: The microphone will automatically cycle through the single colours available.
Pressing and holding for 3 seconds turns off all the light modes.
The FIFINE Ampligame AM6 Microphone has a memory function too, so long as the USB isn’t unplugged, the microphone will resort to the last light option upon powering on.
Using The Microphone.
The FIFINE AM6 has been designed to be a simple plug and play microphone. Simply plug the USB-A plug into your laptop, computer, or console and you’re good to go.
If using on a Windows or Mac system the microphone will automatically install the required drivers, follow the onscreen instructions to fully install the microphone.
But, if you’re a bit techy, you can also customise the microphone further. Once the drivers have been downloaded you can open the menus and play about with the settings to suit your needs.
I found the sound quality to be top notch, and being able to adjust between sound and your voice is an awesome feature, this type of set up usually costs hundreds to have, FIFINE produce a range of products that are very affordable, to suit those with quality in mind and also being affordable.
The noise cancelling function works incredibly well, even to cancel out the noise from using a keyboard or clicks from a mouse, very impressive.
You can also use the AM6 on a mic arm stand too by unscrewing the thumbscrew fully and installing onto the arm.
