ACEFAST T8 Wireless Earbuds

Today I’ll be writing a review for these ACEFAST T8 Wireless Earbuds. This is my first review for ACEFAST, they’re a relatively new brand to the audio market having started in 2020. ACEFAST sell chargers, power banks, cables, mobile phone accessories and of course, audio. Much of their product line features a cool, transparent design. These T8 earbuds aren’t no different, you can see the inner PCB through a clear plastic casing.

The ACEFAST T8 Wireless Earbuds that I’m reviewing today are the latest upgrade (2023) version and feature 10mm composite audio drivers, dual speakers and a dual microphone that ensures vocals can be picked up easily. You also get a stable Bluetooth V5.3 Bestechnic BES2600IHC chipset.

Each pair is IPX4 waterproof rated too, so ideal for light water splashes, such as rain. You also get around 7 hours audio and 4-hour call time on a full charge and the battery case allows around 4 charges before requiring a recharge itself, so you’re free to enjoy 30 hours of audio!

But are they any good? Time to test them out!

Packaging and Contents.

The ACEFAST T8 Wireless Earbuds come packaged in a cardboard box, which shows product images and specifications printed on it. The box measures 17.0cm x 10.7cm x 5.0cm and weighs 276G.

Inside the box you’ll get the following: 1x Earbuds, 1x Charging Case, 4x Additional Silicone Ear-Tips, 1x Silicone Case, 1x Silicone Lanyard, 1x Charging Cable, and 1x Multi-Lingual User Guide.

As you can see you get a lot of included accessories with the ACEFAST T8 Wireless Earbuds. The supplied USB-A/USB-C charging cable measures 33.0cm in length, you’re free to use any other USB-C charging cable if you require a longer charging cable. You also get supplied a Silicone lanyard, this loops into the protective case and measures 42.0cm in length. You can also charge and access your earbuds through the Silicone case too.

ACEFAST T8 Wireless Earbuds.

The ACEFAST T8 Wireless Earbuds charging case weighs around 49G, this also includes the earbuds. Each earbud measures 36.8mm x 24.0mm x 15.6mm and weighs 5G each. You also get a few colour options too, I have Alfalfa Purple, but you can get Cool Black, Ice Blue, Lotus Pink, Mint Green, and White Moon. All of which feature ACEFAST’s cool, transparent design.

The ACEFAST T8 Wireless Earbuds are certainly marketed towards the young, teenage audio market. In fact, I have a 13-year-old daughter waiting patiently for my review so she can grab these. She already has earbuds (bonus of having a reviewer dad) but apparently “She need these in her life”.

Before using the ACEFAST T8 Wireless Earbuds you’ll need to give them a charge. As mentioned, you can use the supplied charging cable, or use any other USB-C cable. Charging takes around an hour and is indicated by a LED digital percentage display, you get the word OK when fully charged. When you place the earbuds into the case you get a breathing charging light. I tried to photograph the cool lighting effect.

Once charged you can connect via Bluetooth, search ACEFAST Crystal (2) T8. Once paired initially, they’ll automatically connect when removed from the charging case. Regarding the charging case, the earbuds magnetically sit on the side of the charging case, completing a round finish and can quickly be removed and replaced.

The ACEFAST T8 Wireless Earbuds also support fast charging too, quick charge for ten minutes and listen to your music for two hours.

Touch Control.

Each earbud features a touch-sensitive control area. You can control a few basic functions, such as:

  • Volume Up: Tap the right earbud.
  • Volume Down: Tap the left earbud.
  • Pause/Play: Double tap either earbud.
  • Skip Track: Triple tap the right earbud.
  • Previous Track: Tripe tap the left earbud.
  • Answer Call: Double tap either earbud.
  • Reject Call: Press and hold either earbud.
  • Enter/Exit Game Mode: When using both earbuds, tap the touch area of the right earphone for 2s.
  • Voice Assistant: Touch the touch area of the left earphone for 2s and let go after hearing the tone to enter/exit the voice assistant.

The touch control is a bit of a letdown if I’m being honest. Volume up and down works perfectly well but pause/play and track selection are temperamental. Triple tap to control a track just doesn’t work, it’s almost impossible to consistently triple tap the exact area each time, so if you’re trying to skip a track, you’ll end up pausing and increasing volume each time. I tried for a while and only managed to successfully skip a track a few times. ACEFAST need to rethink this feature, maybe press, and hold to control track selection would be easier.

Sound Quality.

OK, I’ll admit it, I had a preconceived idea that the ACEFAST T8 Wireless Earbuds were going to sound poor, average at best, presumed they’re just sold for the looks, but…how wrong I was. Actually, impressed with the sound quality, they sound OK, bass and vocals area clear, no distortion whatsoever. For the market ACEFAST is targeting they’ll be highly appreciated by users.

I’ve been wearing them for a couple of weeks and can confirm that they’re comfortable too, even for prolonged use. Again, very surprising!

Both noise isolation and cancellation are above average too, you get an immersive audio experience. You get 10mm Aluminium-Magnesium moving coils, with an additional 6mm Titanium dome tweeter, this makes for a clear frequency and more bass.

The advertised Bluetooth range is 10M, but I managed 20M easily. I couldn’t break the signal either. This is all thanks to the Bluetooth V5.3 Bestechnic BES2600IHC chipset and Laser Direct Structuring (LDS) design. This LDS antenna design is a first globally, and available to ACEFAST currently.

The call feature works good too, this is all thanks to the in-built Environment Noise Cancellation (ENC) twin microphone, this noise reduction helps produce a clear phone call.

I really like the ACEFAST T8 Wireless Earbuds. I wasn’t expecting too much in terms of audio from them, but within a few minutes of use, quickly changed my mind. They sound better than you think. Aside from the sound the biggest selling point is the cool, transparent design. My daughter can’t wait to get her hands on them.

I highly recommend them.
