I'm Elaine and I design and hand sew mixed media accessories and artwork through my award winning small business, Ellie's Treasures. Based in rural Lincolnshire (UK), my work is inspired by the beautiful nature around me.

A love of colour and texture led me to discover the art of combining mixed media with hand stitching, a timely process where each small artwork comes to life slowly through layers of felt, fabric and trims with decorative embellishments and detailed charms all neatly sewn by hand.

I sell through my website and social media pages and have been fortunate enough to periodically sell through bricks-and-mortar shops and at selected Christmas craft markets. I love taking on commissions and working with my customers to ensure they receive a personal item they can love and treasure.

Since launching online in 2009, Ellie’s Treasures has been featured in a craft based magazine and several online gift guides. I am proud to have been chosen by Theo Paphitis (of television Dragons' Den fame) for his #SBS (Small Business Sunday) award in August 2021.
