Sephia SP4080 Earphones

The Sephia SP4080 Earphones are another set of affordable earphones from Sephia. You’d think the bargain price would mean these earphones are poor in quality, but after reading my review you’ll see why price means nothing in the field of audio equipment.

The Sephia SP4080 comes with in-line user control, universal 3.5mm jack plug and a wonderfully modern Rose Gold colour scheme.

Being universally suited for any device which has a 3.5mm input port, these earphones can be used iPhone, iPad, MP3 players, android smartphones, tablets, and PC’s.

But what so they sound like? Does the price reflect fairly? Time to test them out!

Packaging.

The Sephia SP4080 Earphones come neatly packaged in a Black outer cardboard box. The outer box measures 9.5cm x 6.5cm x 6.5cm and weighs 135G.

When you open the box you’ll see the earphones neatly packaged in a foam layer, underneath this layer you’ll come across the accessories box and manuals.

Upon opening the Sephia SP4080 box you will find the following items. 1x Earphones, 1x Accessory Pack, 1x Carry Pouch, 1x Safety Guide, 1x User Guide, 1x Sephia VIP Discount Card.

Sephia SP4080 Earphones.

The Sephia SP4080 Earphones are Rose Gold in colour and have a total length of around 1.2M and weigh 21G.

The cable looks very cool too, you can see the copper cables through the Thermoplastic Elastomers (TPE) coated outer cable. This outer coating is a mixed blended material of plastic and rubber, this TPE blend ensures the cable is strong, durable and built to withstand heavy usage.

The cable not only looks cool, and is made to be durable, but it’s also been designed to be tangle free. If you scrunch the cable up all you need to do is gently give the earphones a shake and the cable will untangle by itself, like magic!

Changing Ear tips.

Sephia have supplied no fewer than 6 sized silicon ear tips, 2 different sized memory foam tips to choose from. With this selection I’m sure you’ll find a suitable and comfortable fit to suit any ear type.

To change a tip, simply pull the tip off the earbud area, and push on another tip.  Easy peasy lemon squeezy!

3.5mm Jack Plug.

The Sephia SP4080 comes fitted with a standard 3.5mm jack plug.  This plug allows you to use these earphones in any device that supports a 3.5mm jack. If you’re using an iPhone 7 or later, you’ll need to use a lightning/3.5mm adapter. The jack is also Gold plated for perfect signal transfer. It also features a 3 pole Tip Ring Ring Sleeve (TRRS) for Left Audio, Right Audio, Ground and Microphone.

In-Line Control.

Yes, the Sephia SP4080 also comes with in-line control. I tried this control out whilst using my iPhone 7 and it worked brilliantly! You get three control buttons, so no over-complicated controls. The two end buttons controls the volume. And, the middle button is the multi-function button, this button will control other features such as play/pause, skip tracks, and even answer/end phone calls!

To answer a call, press the middle button once, to end that phone call press it again. To reject an incoming call, press the button and hold it for 2 seconds. If you want to play or pause your music press the button once, to skip a track press the button twice.  That’s it!

The handsfree calling function works great, the microphone is good, and the call quality is of very good quality.

Sound Quality.

So, if you’ve read to this point, you’ll want to know what the Sephia SP4080 Earphones sound like. So, I’ll tell you now that they sound…

ABSOLUTELY FRICKEN EXCELLENT!

I’m not messing about, they honestly sound top class. You can even plug them into your ears and use them quite easily as earplugs, that’s how good they fit and block out any background noise. The Sephia SP4080 are probably the best noise isolation earphones that I’ve reviewed. You can’t hear any background noise whatsoever! So, you’re free to enjoy your music library in peace and total isolation.

The bass is particularly excellent, each thump can be heard, and you’d easily think you’re using a set of earphones costing ten times the amount of money compared to the bargain price of the Sephia SP4080.

Not only is the bass excellent, but treble and mid-range tones are easily heard, and your music library can be heard in high-quality audio, as it should be!

I love these earphones and love the audio quality produced from a set of earphones that cost so little in terms of financial outlay.

Don’t take just my word for it, these earphones have a 4.5 rating out of 5 on Amazon (based on 584 customer reviews, correct as of 10/12/2018) so not only am I saying these are great over 500 others think so too!

Conclusion.

Well, what can I say about these Sephia SP4080 Earphones, only that I bloody love them! The sound quality is of very, very, very high quality. Honestly, they’re great. I also love the cool Rose Gold design and the translucent cable design too.

Not only are they good for audio, but also, they’re great for blocking out all background noises too. You also get so many different sized ear tips to choose from, and a carry pouch to keep your earphones stored nice and securely.
