Rocketbook Fusion

Today I’ll be writing about Rocketbook Fusion. This notepad is made from reusable plastic pages and can be used repeatedly.

The surface of the paper can be wiped clean with a damp cloth to reveal a perfectly new page every time.

That’s not all, with the Rocketbook App you can scan and upload your content, send your documents to various email address and more.

This book is perfect for students and will be the only notepad they’ll require throughout the whole of their studies.

How does it work? Is the App any good? Time to test it out!

Packaging and Contents.

The Rocketbook Fusion comes packaged in a Grey zip plastic bag.

Upon opening the bag you’ll find the following items: 1x Notebook, 1x Cleaning Cloth, 1x Pen.

Rocketbook Fusion.

The Rocketbook Fusion comes in two different sized notebooks. This one I have for review is called the Executive and measures 21.5cm x 27.9cm. The other version is called Letter and is smaller in size, it measures 15.2cm x 22.3cm. Both models feature a Black outer plastic cover, and both feature a spiral coil spine.

The Rocketbook Fusion has 21 double sided pages of reusable ‘paper’ inside. I’ll call it paper, but it’ actually a special plastic sheet. Each page has a glossy feel to it and each page features a special QR code, this I’ll explain in more detail below as the Rocketbook Fusion has more features than being wiped and reused.

The pen which is supplied is the pen you can use. It’s a FriXion erasable pen from Pilot. You can purchase additional pens if you lose the one supplied or wish to use another colour.

Using the Rocketbook Fusion.

The basic principle of the Rocketbook Fusion is simple. Write on a page and wipe it clean to use it again. But, there’s more to this than that. Rocketbook have a special App which can be downloaded (for free) and is available to both iOS and Android users. Simply search for ‘Rocketbook’ on the App store of your device and download it. Upon downloading you’ll need to launch open the App and register for an account, this is important as you’ll be able to directly email your written content direct to your email inbox, ready to be shared.

There’re also 7 different icons on each page, these are special icons. In the App you assign an email address to each icon and when you upload a page you can select where to send each document to according to that icon. You don’t have to use all 7 icons for 7 different email address. If you assign only 2 emails address the other icons will automatically send an email to your main user email on your account.

Now that you’ve the App you’re ready to use the Rocketbook Fusion to its full potential.

Scanning a Page.

Once you’ve written a piece of content on a page, you’ll need to open the Rocketbook App and select the middle icon called ‘New Scan’, once you’ve allowed Rocketbook access to your camera you’ll need to scan your page. The onscreen instruction makes very light work of scanning a document. Within a few seconds your content is scanned and uploaded onto the App.

Next you can choose what to do with your document, you can easily end it via email, or you have other options, these include sharing it via SMS message or uploading it directly onto your social media feeds. Or you could simply save all your work on the App.

The App is very easy to use, there’s even some ‘how to’ guides to help you, but the App is self-exoplanetary enough, if you’re able to find the App and download you’ll find it just as easy to use it!

Once you’ve finished with a page simply wipe it clean using the supplied cloth, just dampen it slightly, and that’s it!

I was very impressed by the whole writing, scanning, and wiping clean process. It’s like a miracle and you’ll only ever need one notepad, the Rocketbook Fusion.

And there’s more! On the setting menu within the App you have an option called ‘Handwriting Recognition’ enable this and you’ll be able to search through all your written documents by performing a search of a keyword. This save so much time in trawling through all your documents.

Conclusion.

I absolutely love the Rocketbook Fusion. It works so well, and I can see it becoming the only real replacement alternative use for paper notebooks. The Rocketbook is a game-changer and futuristic in its design and re-usability.

Honestly, this is the best paper saving notebook out on the market today, I couldn’t fault it. The whole process is simple. The App is great and works perfectly well and is easy to use and follow along. Even the email is an instant email from the App.

This is the best product of 2019 for me, it’s so advanced in terms of technological development and saves our environment too!

Please buy one and try it out for yourself, you’ll never buy a paper notepad ever again, trust me on this one!
