You’ll be able to enjoy a game of Pontoon, Craps, Roulette and all can be played on the wooden gaming table.

You get all accessories including the Roulette Wheel, Chips etc which are stored within the Vegas Nights 3 in 1 Gaming Table when not in use.   Making for perfect storage and ready for your next Vegas themed card night.

But is this set any good? What is the quality like? Time to test it out!

Packaging.

The Oliphant Vegas Nights 3 in 1 Gaming Table comes packaged in a very nice designed wooden box with an outer cardboard box, this box has picture illustrations and specifications printed on it.  The box measures 51.5cm x 31.0cm x 7.5cm and weighs 3190G.

Contents.

Once you open the Oliphant cardboard box you’ll find the following items: 1x Gaming Table, 1x Gaming Table Lid, 1x Roulette Wheel, 2x Steel Balls, 2x Red Dice, 100x Poker Chips, 2x Decks of Cards, 1x Rake.

Its mentioned on the outer box about playing instructions, but I never got any! So, I’m not sure whether that’s a typo or in fact these were missing from my set!

Oliphant Vegas Nights 3 in 1 Gaming Table.

The Oliphant Vegas Nights 3 in 1 Gaming Table is made from MDF board and covered in a soft velour fabric, the Roulette Wheel is made from plastic.  The table measures (With the lid on) 50.0cm x 30.5cm x 7.0cm and weighs 1985G.

Manufacturing Problems.

I wasn’t impressed by the finish of the product, the fabric on the lid was coming away from the Roulette table.  I had to super glue these together to use the table.

The idea of the gaming table is a good one, and I’m sure is a perfect gift for someone who loves all things relating to Vegas and the thrill of the Casino.  But, for me the overall quality lets down the whole concept.  It’s a shame because the cards supplied are BCG Poker cards, which are good quality playing cards.  The box mentions you get 100x chips with 50x White, 25x Red, 25x Black which is untrue.  You get 25x White, 25x Red, 25x Blue, 25x Black!

The rake supplied also lacks quality, the rake itself is nicely build from solid Plastic, but it’s the bottom section on which you use to drag on the table that’s the issue.  It has raised plastic from the manufacturing process protruding and will slice up your nice playing surface in next to no time.  I suggest using a fine graded sandpaper to make the rake smoother and remove these manufacturing defects.

Using the Table.

To use the gaming table is simple.  To play Roulette put the lid one way, flip it over if you wish to play Pontoon.  If you remove the lid altogether you can enjoy a game of Craps using the interior of the gaming table.  The bottom of the gaming table has foam feet to ensuring a non-slip game play and protect your furniture from scratches.

Conclusion.

I’m very disappointed in this Gaming Table.  Oliphant are normally top-notch when it comes to quality but on this occasion this product is not up to the high standards I’m used to seeing from Oliphant.  I had to make a few repairs and alterations to start using this gaming table, which is not very good at all!  As I’ve previously mentioned before the concept behind this product is great, but the finished article lets it down.  Let’s hope the manufacturing quality control improves.
