Olight M2T Warrior.

You get a strong belt clip on one side which measures 7.0cm in length and this torch also has two power buttons, one on the side called the side switch and one at the bottom called the tail switch. These power buttons have a rubber coating that provides you with some grip when operating them.

There is also a cut out near the tail switch to use the supplied lanyard if preferred.

You get two CR123A batteries supplied with the Olight M2T Warrior, to access these you’ll need to unscrew the cap at the bottom near to the tail switch in an anti-clockwise direction.

You’ll also notice the two CR123A batteries are inside a plastic magazine, this is to provide a more secure placing from inside the torch body as this torch can also use an 18650 battery too (Not Supplied) and these two different batteries have different diameter widths.  The CR123A battery has a diameter measurement of 16mm whereas the 18650 battery has a 18mm diameter.

But with this battery magazine you get a choice whether to continue to use the two supplied CR123A battery or switch it up and use one 18650 battery instead without the magazine.

Features of the M2T Warrior.

The Olight M2T Warrior comes action packed with 5 different light settings, and a powerful and blinding strobe feature.  You can access some of these from using both the side switch and the tail switch and for others you can only access different options using just the one switch.

Side Switch – Give the side switch a single click and the torch will light up with the previous memorised light setting, to change this to either a Low, Medium, or High light output, simply press and hold and the torch will cycle through.  All you need to is stop on your preferred setting.

To turn off the torch single press the switch again and when you turn it on it will remember your last selected light setting.

If you want to quickly access the turbo light setting quickly press the side switch twice, this will work for only 3 minutes before being reduced to the high light setting.

Strobe.

You can also access the strobe light setting from the side switch too, to do this (Be warned, look away) quickly press the side switch button three times.

You can also use the lowest light setting which is called moonlight mode, to use this you need to when the torch is off press and hold the side switch for over a second, release it and then enjoy using the lowest light setting which is ideal for reading at night!

Tail Switch – Give the tail switch a soft single press and it will automatically power on with the highest turbo light output release it and it will switch off, you can set it to stay on turbo mode by hard pressing and quickly releasing the switch.  If you want to access the strobe light setting via the tail light, simply press and hold the button to stop the strobe light, lift off and release the button.

Light Levels.

As previously mentioned you get 5 different light levels with the Olight M2T Warrior, i will now go on in more detail about each one and their different expectant lifespan and light level outputs.  I have provided both information for using the supplied two CR123A batteries or if using 1x 18650 battery.

Using the M2T Warrior.

OK, so the first thing you notice when you pick up the Olight M2T Warrior torch is the quality, it feels very good in the hand and you know it’s been designed to last.  When you start to play about with the torch you’ll probably be temporary blinded! That’s what happened to me, this torch is severely powerful and even lighting up a wall from a distance of only a couple of metres is enough to hurt your eyes.

The control buttons feel nice and tactile on your fingertips and easy to control all in one hand, which is nice.

The torch body fits nice and comfortably across the palm of your hand too.

My only gripe is the Olight M2T Warrior torch should really be supplied with two RCR123A Batteries which can be recharged as these two CR123A batteries might not last long before you’re on Amazon buying more.

Conclusion.

Wow, just wow.  This torch from Olight is truly fantastic, especially now my eyes have recovered from testing it!  If you want a quality torch that will last year’s then this is for you.  This is a great all-round night torch that is perfect for all those activity junkies out there.  I’d like some rechargeable batteries as standard, but you can upgrade and get the 18650 torch with a charging base if you invest more money into this torch.  Or, you can just as easily buy this torch and buy some rechargeable CR123A batteries, or even an 18650 battery.

If you want the Olight M2T Warrior for yourself, it’s available for purchase only on Amazon. The RRP for this product is £60.95.
