JML Finishing Touch Flawless Brows

Today I’m going to be reviewing the JML Finishing Touch Flawless Brows trimmer. The hair removal tool that looks like a chunky pen and promises quick, pain-free hair removal.

The trimmer head is made from 18K Gold-Plated and is perfect for individuals with super-sensitive skin. This eyebrow trimmer also promises no irritation, nicks, cuts or bumps to ruin your perfectly shaped eyebrows.

A single AAA battery is all that’s required and the JML Finishing Touch Flawless Brows can easily be carried around in a bag.

But is this eyebrow trimmer any good? Is it pain-free? Time to test it out.

Packaging and Contents.

The JML Finishing Touch Flawless Brows comes packaged in a Brown cardboard box, the box features product illustrations, and specifications. The box measures 19.0cm x 9.0cm x 4.0cm and weighs 100G. Upon opening the box you’ll find; 1x Trimmer, 1x Cleaning Brush, 1x User Guide.

JML Finishing Touch Flawless Brows.

The JML Finishing Touch Flawless Brows is Rose Gold in colour and measures 13.0cm in length x 2.0cm in diameter and weighs 36G. You’ll need to supply your own battery (1x AAA Battery) in order to use your eyebrow trimmer.

The trimmer head is located underneath the lid at the top, there’s also a LED light located around the trimmer head. This is great to see and locate even the tiniest of hair.

Using the JML Finishing Touch Flawless Brows.

As previously mentioned above, you need to insert 1x AAA battery into the JML Finishing Touch Flawless Brows. To do this you need to slide the main body section in a downward motion to expose the battery compartment area.

Once you’ve installed your battery, you’ll need to replace the cover. Remove the lid at the top and slide the power switch upward. The trimmer will start to work, and the LED light will also light up.

I found the power switch to be very awkward to slide upward and hurt my thumb. The switch is not easy to get a comfortable grip onto and the shape of it cuts into your skin. I found the best way is to use the top of your thumb nail (If you have short nails) and use your nail again to turn it off. My partner tried to use my nail technique, but she has longer nails and was worried they might break. The solution, use the lip of the lid to slide the power switch upward/downward.

Experiences.

I’m a male who like other males suffer from the dreaded unibrow from time to time. The JML Finishing Touch Flawless Brows even worked for me too. I can confirm the whole process is completely painless and didn’t hurt whatsoever. The LED light is great for seeing fine hair, but can also hinder your progress, as you get close to your eyebrow area the bright light can blind you slightly, making the whole process rather difficult. There’s no way to turn off the LED light either, so you’re stuck with this option.

You’re also able to remove the trimmer head in order to clean it after each use. But this process is also very difficult as the material used hinders any kind of real grip and you’ll find yourself just sliding about on the glossy surface. Once you do open the trimmer head, you’ll see two exposed cutting blades so be careful at the point. I’d recommend you removing the battery too, just in case you turn on the trimmer whilst the head is removed.

JML should redesign this product to cut out the motor until the trimmer head has been securely screwed back into position.

Aside from my issues with the power switch and the trimmer head the JML Finishing Touch Flawless Brows works very well. Hair is easily removed and the whole process is pain-free and effortless.

Conclusion.

I quite like the JML Finishing Touch Flawless Brows. It works well and hair is easily removed, and pain-free too! But there’s a few little issues that need addressing to turn this product from a great product into a fantastic product. The first is the power on/off switch needs a re-design, it’s awkward to use and is poorly thought out, the second is an option to turn the LED light off if required, and thirdly and by far the most important aspect is the lack of a safety cut out whilst you have the twin cutting blades exposed. The motor shouldn’t operate unless the trimmer head is securely fastened back into position. This needs looking into by JML urgently as this is a major cause for concern.

The product itself though does work very well, and I highly recommend it for hair removal, but the safety and usability aspect for me let it down.
