The SOLMORE 9 Colour Music Ball Lamp is an all-in-one party light with LED lighting and sound all into one in-built compact light.

You get nine different colours with this disco lamp.  You get Blue, Warm Red, Warm White, Green, Pink, Purple, Orange, White, and Yellow.

The SOLMORE 9 Colour Music Ball Lamp can all be controlled easily by the supplied remote control.

You also get five different modes and can choose from the Auto Mode, Strobe Mode, Colour Mode, Sound Activated Mode, and Bluetooth Mode which allows you to play your music library directly from your smartphone through this disco light.

The SOLMORE 9 Colour Music Ball Lamp comes boxed in a plain Brown cardboard box.  The box measures 13.5cm x 13.5cm x 13.8cm and weighs 450G.

SOLMORE 9 Colour Music Ball Lamp.

The SOLMORE 9 Colour Music Ball Lamp is made from highly durable plastic materials.  The lamp is Black with a clear dome top, the light measures 12.5cm in height and has a diameter of 11.8cm and weighs 400G.

The SOLMORE 9 Colour Music Ball Lamp also comes with a remote control, this enables you to change multiple settings, such as; lighting modes and track volume/selection.  The remote-control measures 8.5cm x 3.8cm.

On the side of the LED disco lamp is where the DC 5V power input port is located and on the other side is where the speaker output is located.

On the bottom there’s two screw slots to enable to secure the light in a more permanent way.

Using the Lamp.

Using the lamp is easy and you’ll be partying to a Katy Perry’s Roar in a matter of moments.  Firstly, you’ll need to connect the USB power lead to the light (Which has a length of 120.0cm), the light will start to rotate in an automated pattern.  You’ll also hear a pre-recorded voice of “Bluetooth Mode”, this means that you can connect the light to your smartphone via Bluetooth connection.

To do this, search on your device for “ZTV-CT10EA” and pair.  Now you’ll be able to play music directly from your device to the in-built speaker on the SOLMORE light.

Using the remote control, you can change the lighting settings, you can increase/decrease the motor speed, choose from a variety of different colour blends, but most impressively, you can control your music library using the remote control.

I found the lamp a fun party piece, but the sound produced is low quality and quickly distorts when the volume is increased.

It’s a perfect party light for a small living room birthday party but don’t expect a hired village dancehall to be dancing along to this light anytime soon!

Conclusion.

I quite like this light from SOLMORE, it’s quite an intelligent piece of equipment.  As I’ve said above the sound is not the best, but if you want a cheap and cheerful home party light, then this is perfect for you.  The remote control sometimes loses responsiveness, which is a little annoying.

Overall though it’s a good quality light that produces a brilliant LED lighting display and I recommend this for a home disco or party.
